We look a bit shaky at the back at times but we also look as if we could score again . If we can see this out it will be a huge statement and a huge confidence booster .
Well Done Celtic so far two excellent goals …👏👏…. We need to be wary of that clown with the whistle ….A typical Euro ref that we get …..he has been selected to do a job for Dallas Senior….
We were the better side by far 1st 45, just keep the shape in the second half and nothing daft.

We are playing well and getting a bit of luck for a change. We are closing down well, but can we keep it going? I hope so!

Great performance and scoreline. Had to ride a bit of luck sometimes but against this level of opposition, it’s to be expected. We look like we can cut them open going forward. Frimpong having a bit more end product, Ntcham probing and credit where it’s due to Moi….two brilliant finishes.
Bain’s a funny one. Couple of good saves and great stop for the penalty but nearly throws his good work away with a clanger that their striker hit the bar with.
All playing well although Ajeti looks a bit rigid – missed a sitter too….maybe give him another ten before giving Griff or Eddie a run.
Well – good to get to halt time there with 2-0 intact. Very well played by the Bhoys. Took our chances, rode our luck and now need to see this game out.
Great to see Ely coming onto form and Ajeti is full of running up front. Very pleased with that 45 minutes. Being a Celtic supporter can be a roller coaster at times :)

First goal been shown 6 or 7 times. Sutton has not mentioned Ajeti’s involvement once. Doesn’t fit with his Ajeti is a dud agenda.

So 4-4-2 is working for us !
Might be a long second half as they will up the pace and we can only be so lucky at the back. If we keep it tight in the middle and press them we just might get a result here – but no more mistakes !
First thing Stubbs and sleekit mentioned.
Celtic are great going forward, nice passing in midfield. Defensively our midfield is weak and we are chasing and not getting close. Duffy has had a couple of meaty challenges and unlucky to be booked.
IN TRUTH – CELTIC IN EUROPE GET CORRUPT CHEATING REFEREES – the laws of probability suggest we should get the odd strange penalty. Time and time and time again the teams we play get those dodgy decisions. Additionally, he blows for fouls against our attackers when jumping for the ball.

Late getting home but just in time to turn the game on, neighbour pops round having taken a parcel in for me.. he’s in the mood for a natte, missed the whole first half of what sounds like some of our best play this season.
Maybe it’s me that’s the jinx..
That level of quality is what you get from Moi. I fully appreciate he has been well off the boil but terrific technician. That first goal was a brammer.
Same said for Ntcham.
Really hope we can kick on. Even the draw now could feel like a setback.

Never a foul, let alone a penalty. Lille are playing for free kicks around the box, falling down everywhere., we need to be more savvy on this – play the same. Much better tempo and movement, crisp first time passing. Now need to shut them down in 2nd half. COYBIG 🍀🍀

Playing very well. Bit shaky at the back. Laxalt playing very well. Ajer needs to stop breaking the line and stepping forward. That’s what led to the penalty.

Very pleased with a worldie goal from ELyounoussi and a smart cutback from Frimpong. I hoep even Timmy 7 can see what Ntcham brings in games like this. Composure on the ball and working it up the pitch till we get there in numbers.
Now the caveats!
The Real Deal Lille have not turned up as yet
Will the home team ref still award them all the fouls when they have spurned his helping hand?
Will we keep 11 on the pitch?
Amd can Neil get a bit more animated and maybe talk to a coach or two on camera? :-)

What a night absolutely wonderful first half performance. It’s great to see Celtic looking like an organised team again. Slick passing and aggressive tackling. Brilliant. Two great goals from open play and a great penalty save from Scott Bain. Keep up the good work Bhoys.
