Lions Roar, the last giant standing, CQN Mag is out!

824

Issue 16 of CQN Magazine is out today and (in my never humble opinion) is our best yet.  We are right up to date, with coverage of the Scottish Cup final.  Phil Mac Giolla Bhain gives historical perspective on Celtic’s position as the last apex in the game.

You’ve ready plenty of great stories of how people got their tickets Seville and we bring you a very Celtic story on how one man got his.  Did you notice we’ve mentioned Willie Wallace a bit recently?  Some of the reasons why are covered by two of Scotland’s best writers, Brogan Hogan and Archie MacPherson, excerpts of their contributions to Heart of a Lion are here for you.

There are lots more great articles….. including our cover theme, The Lions Roar Again Event.  The remaining Lisbon Lions are back at Celtic Park for a Q&A and Lisbon film show, in aid of 1254125.  The first event was one of those special Celtic occasions, if you missed it, make sure you get along this time.

Opportunities like this don’t come along often.  Book your tickets for the event here, bring the family.

DON’T TRY TO READ THE MAGAZINE FROM THE GRAPHC BELOW, that is just a teaser.  For a proper read, go here.  Use the navigation buttons at the bottom to flick through pages or zoom in.

    Is this likely to be genuine?

    ===

    No the Ghuy sells lots of Celtic related kit on Ebay all 100% geniune, expensive, and i assume he must get the kit straight from CP given the rarity and condition of the kit he sells. He is listing the shirt as a one off ‘fake’ from the far East.

    the post also made reference to sexual assault. Again, if you feel that is ok to post on this site then that is your perogative.

    Been playing catch-up this morning.

    If you bought the car through an HP agreement, inform the Finance Co. about the problem, and tell them that you are withholding payment until either the faut is rectified, or the car returned.

    Not so sure what your rights are if you paid cash, but the vehicle must be of “merchantable quality” commensurate with age and mileage, i.e., the younger and lower mileage the car is, the higher the expectation level should be.

    Good luck, and let me know how you got on.

    Things that are clear from Charlotte’s leaked file of Craig’s conversation with Duff and Phelps.

    1. The SFA and the SPL were up to their necks in all the wheeling and dealing. Either Paul or David (no idea which is which) says: “To be fair, the SPL have been very good about it.” Just before this is an admission that Scotland’s football authorities are making all of this up as they go along. Utterly shameful and shambolic. The SFA and the SPL made a total horse’s bahookey of how to run professional sport.

    The only laugh at this point is when Craigy Bhoy asserts that the SPL knows it needs Rangers and that “all this talk of Division Three is just rubbish” and “will never happen”.

    The computer all of a sudden had this blue circle at the top of the page and, it said that there would be 39 configures or something?

    The message kept repeating and, then it put the computer to shut down?

    I couldn’t get it to go for a while but, here we are :>)

    Thanks for the welcome,that was very nice.

    I have to go away now because of all the time lost, I’ll have to put the computer back off again for my wife to use later.

    So, take care till next time,I can’t wait to get back on to the Celtic Quick News again.

    Hail Hail and thanks to Paul67.

    Unbelievable piece from someone employed as a journalist,Leggat would have been embarrassed by that.

    I did like this comment on it though

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    David Callaghan, Glasgow • an hour ago −
    The governing bodies that tried to get Rangers into the SPL are holding them back?
    The governing bodies that then managed to get the SFL to somehow vote on Rangers getting into the SFL1 are holding the back?
    The governing bodies that allowed Rangers to pick when their transfer embargo started are holding them back?
    The governing bodies that changed the rules of the Ramsdens cup AFTER Rangers had already broken them are holding them back?
    The governing bodies that have proposed to scrap the 22 over 21 player rule just after Rangers signed their 23rd over 21 player are holding Rangers back?
    The governing bodies that somehow colluded to reach a decision that 11 years of deliberate rule-breaking didn’t deserve punishment are holding Rangers back?
    The governing bodies that, at this time, have had no clarification from Rangers that they never broke the terms of there playing registration and do not, at this time, appear to be doing anything about it are holding Rangers back?
    The governing bodies that Craig Whyte admits in recent released tapes are “bending over backwards to help Rangers” are holding them back?
    Paranoid drivel.
  17. Dontbratt,
    Kilmarnock played in those hoops in the 50s / 60s.
    One of the few fixtures which necessitated a change of strip.
  18. unionbearBhind,
    That’s no journalist, that’s Derek Johnstone. Although given that there are a few words with more than four letters he probably didn’t write it himself.
    They are so caught up in the needs of The Rangers that the rest of Scottish football can go to hell. Opposing a reconstruction because it stymies their plans to play trialists in three league games? A joke.
    BTW welcome to the new poster :D
    Always remember reading a quote from “a Celtic insider” who said words to the effect of
    “Lou Macari spent 18 months playing for Celtic and 30 years talking about it”
    Always Macari of MU just like its always Dalglish of Liverpool
    3. Unless Craig W is bluffing in the meeting, the Newco as vehicle for getting round the football bodies’ rules was Bill Miller’s idea. Craig was seeing Charles Green at 7.30 that evening (May 1 2012). Maybe he was able to share the idea with Charles then.
