Pat Fenlon looks like a broken man. Half-hearted instructions being given out, he knows his time’s up. Sad to see, but his team are s^^^e!

Never mind. It’s the taking part and having fun which counts at that age. Remember, no looking happy or fulfilled when you drive back through the Boondocks.

The Butlers is long gone, replaced by the internationally famous as seen on telly cocktail lounge and chick magnet which is Elliots. Naturally, Mrs Blind doesn’t let me go there in case I get snapped up by a WAG.
Tims have always been here, we just keep under the radar. Things move on , though. We don’t need to ask the Boss if he wan’ see us dance, yaass sir, no more.
And, whisper it, there’s even a Catholic Celtic Supporting capitano at one of the local and very exclusive golf clubs ( no names no packdrill).

Will Petrie pull the trigger? I feel sorry for Fenlon , gets team to 2 cup finals, saves them from relegation and gets them into Europe, its players that will get him the sack yet he signed the players, who’d be a manager unless it was fantasy football in 3rd tier of scottish football with a £700k+ salary & millionaire share options (no laughing at the back).

I thought it was Mathias but you could be right.
Certainly he is also a gentleman if it’s a different priest. Studying law I believe.
It’s just occurred to me , though, that Annan has the only JP Court I’ve ever had the pleasure of appearing in ( for clients , natch) where there was a life size portrait of Her Maj hanging above the bench.
Methinks, if that’s par for the course down in ol’ Annan, that you guys could give the loyal subjects of New Cumnock a run for their money any day of the week .

Noticed an interview yesterday in a downmarket Scottish tabloid with our old friend Fernando Ricksen. Spilled the beans, I mean the drink, on his time at old Ayebroke Park. “Train, Play and Drink” was the order of the day, and not necessarily in that order. Not a surprise to those of us who witnessed the antics of Ferguson and McGregor while with Scotland, but still a bit of a shock that; “..out of 20 players, 16 … would stay up drinking deep into the night and they’d sometimes play matches with a hangover”. This from a player who was Captain at one point. Played under Advocaat, McLeish but not for Le Guen who shipped him out on loan after witnessing his drunken shenanigans on a flight to South Africa. Saved the best bit for last, the contempt he had for supporters of his former club, the former club; “The Rangers fans appreciated……They identified with me a lot. The fans come from the ghetto areas of Glasgow, they have been through …. themselves and they saw me as a figurehead.”
Shocking, shocking, shocking,…. New Cumnock does not even get a mention!

That sounds like an Embra classico game of Blootbaw on Shortbread.
The ” experts” are getting all excited, although apparently none of the tackles have been malicious, so that’s OK then.
