Livi will arrive at Celtic Park confident

After a home defeat to St Mirren in November precipitated Gary Holt’s resignation as Livingston manager, the West Lothian club have won all eight games played, by any measure, they are the form team in Scotland right now.  They were 13 points behind fourth placed Hibernian after that St Mirren defeat.  Hibs have played three games more than Livingston since then but the gap has shrunk to 7 points.

That should illustrate how Livi will be a more difficult opponent than Hibs were this week.  New manager, David Martindale, will fancy his chances of making a name for himself at Celtic Park tomorrow.

Celtic are still without their 13 isolating players, as well as the long-term injured, although Nir Bitton returns from suspension and will likely replace Stephen Welsh.  I expect David Turnbull to move into the middle at the expense of Tom Rogic, with Ewan Henderson starting on the right as he finished against Hibs.

Neil Lennon might be thinking long and hard about Diego Laxalt, who conceded the late foul Hibs equalised from on Monday, and did the same at Ibrox, preceding the corner kick Newco scored from.  It is not totally Diego’s fault that we cannot defend set-pieces satisfactorily, but we need to find a way to stop him conceding them.  Replacement by Greg Taylor is an option.

I have no suggestions as to what we do up front but would not be surprised if Mikey Johnston moved inside.  On the positive side, Livingston will not know what to expect from us.

    I’m also a bit worried about vaccines.

     

    There were 13 people died after taking vaccine in Norway, and a nurse in Portugal died after vaccine had been administered.

     

    If there are no issues with vaccines, then why don’t all of the msm and their families, and all of the UK politicians and their families, get the vaccines live on msm TV channels, and allow Peirs Corbyn to witness everyone of those vaccinations taking place, Peirs Corbyn as opposed to, govts “planted” scientists, so that there can be no switcheroo going on, and then these UK politicians, and UK msm, will have the right to ask the public to take said vaccines? Why not?

    I WILL continue to wear a Mask when I am out for as long as I can, until it becomes problematic lack of breath, panic etc…despite having an Exemption Card.

     

    I only go to my local shop for fresh Bread and Milk these days maybe ONCE every 10 days or so, whenever my Tesco delivery Bread and Milk has ran out.

     

    I will defo take the Vaccine if/when its my turn….as I always TRY to listen to Doctors and Nurses who KNOW a whole lot more than I ever will.

     

     

    Just a pity that I didnt listen to Doctors and Nurses ALL those years ago about the dangers of smoking and drinking….all though it was made rather more difficult when my GP back in the day, would sit there in his surgery SMOKING a Fag…and smelling of Whiskey ?

    I am not a vaccine denier, there are many many vaccines that are wonderful, this vaccine tho is being trialed on the population, anyone who can’t see that is blind to the truth.

     

    I have never denied that there isn’t a virus, there is, it’s a coronavirus just like the flu is but this year there are no deaths from the flu, or pnemonia and such like, it’s all the C-19, this is on the WHO, the CDC and PHE websites, if saying this makes me a mad con theorist, so be it, at least I am not one of the sheeple who believe all the government propaganda lies, that will do for me.

    Vaccines that normally take, according to many sources, 10 years research and experimentation, to fully satisfy that they work and are safe, is my biggest issue.

     

     

    With this vaccine how can those who produced it and those who signed it off can have any idea of the long term effects?

     

     

    About a year in the making?

     

     

    In saying that I will take the jag but will feel like a hamster at the same time.

    Because if you did that the dissenters would immediately denounce Piers Corbyn as having sold out, or claim that he had been kidnapped and drugged and brainwashed, or that it wasn’t the real Piers Corbyn but a clone, or a hologram developed by Bill Gates etc etc etc. You aren’t dealing with rational people, sadly. The more rational ones might wonder how Piers Corbyn would be expected to know the composition of the vaccine. It’s hardly his specialism.

     

     

    There is a campaign to win over people who have concerns by publicising when leading public figures are receiving the vaccine (Biden, the Popes etc). And of course everyone who administers the vaccine has received it themselves, which might go some way to reassure those who have doubts or concerns.

    In any event the precautions taken to avoid catching Covid (hand washing, physical distancing, masks) also help prevent the spread of the viruses that cause colds and flu so it is to be expected that rates should be reduced. It may also be that more people have had the flu vaccine than in previous years. I think the age limit to receive it has been reduced in the UK.

    You are not a fruit cake, we need alternative viewpoints and more people questioning authority.

     

     

    My thoughts are : For years people especially in the public sector have been institutionalised, programmed if you like to accept whatever has been fed to them by their bosses. Intuition has been drummed out and common sense has been demonised and all but eradicated.

     

     

    They have been indoctrinated to believe that questioning anything is disloyal and does not fit the ethos of being a team player.

     

     

    This thought process is now taking hold in the private sector too.

     

     

    Nobody is saying this virus is a lie or that the vaccine may be the best way out , however we must reserve the right to be vigilant, be wary and keep questioning.

     

    It is only common sense and It’s what our forefathers would have done.
