ANGE POSTECOGLOU admits he is “living the dream” at Celtic.
The 57-year-old Hoops boss was linked with the Brighton manager’s job after Graham Potter quit for Chelsea earlier this month.
And now Postecoglou is reportedly on Leicester City’s wanted list while speculation intensifies over the future of Brendan Rodgers following seven conscutive games without a win in the Premier League.
But the Greek-Australian gaffer, who only took over from Neil Lennon in June last year, is refusing to get caught up in the rumour factory as he focuses solely on the job at hand in the east end of Glasgow.
DOWN UNDER…Ange Postecoglou speaks to Fox Sports ahead of Celtic’s visit to Sydney in November.
Speaking of the so-called interest from the struggling Midlands club, Postecoglou, talking to Fox Sport, responded: “It’s not really on my radar.
“It’s a bit like our players, I keep saying to them that if they do what they do well, all this other stuff takes care of itself, whatever their ambitions or my ambitions may be.
“My ambition’s always been the same wherever I’ve been, to be as successful as I can. I’ve charted a course that’s got me to where I am today, I’ve just tried to do it to the best of my ability and opportunities arise from there.
“Right now, I’m at a massive football club, mate. I’m living the dream, I’m enjoying every minute of it, and I’m determined to bring as much success as I can to it while I’m here.”
WELCOME…Sydney prepares for Celtic’s two-game visit.
Postecoglou is currently back in his adopted homeland during the international break to discuss Celtic’s participation in the forthcoming Sydney Cup just before the World Cup Finals kick off in Qatar.
The Hoops are due to play Sydney FC on November 17 and Frank Lampard’s Everton three days later.
