  1. Thank God for the ability, professionalism and determination of our team, especially our senior players.

They are getting us over the line in games where we look like shipping multiple goals every game.

  5. Well done Celtic, but this set up with the players we have will not be successful, 4 goals scored dire defending last ditch one on ones regularly better teams will punish this. I do not see him having any inclination to change what he is doing.

  7. PCS – Am I glad that’s over. Let’s hope our manager has the strength to change the formation on Tuesday evening. We might well get hammered.

It’s not a question of strength, I think, but ability and insight. He is so rigid he cannot see that his system is disastrous. Good teams will score at least 3 in every game. In fact, if the next two games go the way I expect, we can say mediocre teams can score 3 in every game.

I hope I am wrong, but I have seen enough. The guy is out of his depth more than any manager of any big club I can think of.

A good day but this team won’t win the league as is stands. Weakest in 30 years. Well done the mute. Worth every penny. Ya dud.

I fear what the Motherwell lad has in store for us and I fear for the derby. They are utter shite but so are Livi and they could’ve scored 5 today. I don’t discount the huns in the league given how weak we remain.

I expect us to spend the square root of fyck all in January and persist with Johnny Kenny as our main man. Probably just out of spite from the fat cats.

    All about the outcome.

3 points won away from home.

The good ship Celtica is still afloat but has a few holes drilled in the hull . We will have to plug them in the upcoming window.

  11. i did not enjoythat at all.

chaos ball is not for me, i like controlled accurate passing football.

the chat on the radio – somebody is going to take a hammering if celtic keep playing like this

    …………… aye, celtic are.

  12. I’m tired of the argument that we need better players to play his system. Van Dijk and Saliba would be over-run with this guy in charge.

  13. grateful for the 3 pts. but would rather we won 2-0 with a commanding defensive display than the sh** show defensively on display today against the worst team in the league.

  14. Today was all about the result – thankfully.

    Lots of underlying issues.

Time for a stiff drink and some square breathing

  16. I have to be honest, Wilfrid Nancy needs to be removed, the players unable to adapt to his style of tactics,

    the John Barnes months ?

we have had worse teams than this actually win the league.

we can be top of the league come tuesday evening,

  18. PeterLatchfordsBelly on

Livi had 26 touches in our box and 13 shots. A team with 1 win in 18 league games and Rick bottom of the league. We’ll need to score 4 a game to win or draw. With Johnny Kenny as CF. And Mikey Mute as CEO.

  19. These players were failing under Brendan, leaking goals

Get rid of those that don’t want to be here in January and sign hungry replacements. Will make a world of difference.

  20. How much longer do we have to watch Maeda in a Celtic jersey? His first touch is clumsy and ball control non-existent. He doesn’t even look like a footballer when in possession. An empty jersey.

His poor ball control gave Aberdeen a goal last week but everyone blamed Scales who moved to provide an outball for Maeda who was in possession and lost the ball.

Yes he gets the occasional goal but for the most part his finishing is atrocious.

Get rid in January, if anyone will buy him.

  21. Swirched right at the end to Huns game.2 mins to go,stonewall pen to Well knocked back.Even the commentary team were embarrassed.” Think we will leave that to Sportsscene tonight.

And so it goes on.Colum wasting his time withh these Bigots

  22. I think Wilf is ignoring the fact that there are too many deficiencies in the team (what choice does he have?) because he still thinks his team is good enough to win this and anyway need the practice. Ralston really can’t play that position of CB as he is not enough of a ball player to get forward and exploit spaces and he is not fast enough. Yang is not a wing back he is a winger. He does occasionally get stuck in but more often than not loses defensive duels. The least said about JK the better, really not in this game at all. Daizen has been very poor too all he gives is pressing. The biggest surprise for me though was some really poor play from SInasilo. I can see now why KS has remained first choice for so long. Poor punching out, punching instead of catching, dropping the ball. I do think we need another first team ready GK, as well as a winger a CB and a striker.

  23. It’s not for me …so many wanted a change from the BR and his style. My God . We used to control games

  24. This may be a victory but a very worrying performance.

As well as looking vulnerable on every attack it is very easy to get at our “defence” and when that defence is as poor as ours a half decent team will take advantage.

We have no height or physicality in the team and we are and will be bullied and some of our passing is just dreadful. It’s the simple passes especially that we seem to have difficulty with – difficult to explain? Up front Kenny is really not very good and his confidence is shot making him worse – if Shin Yamada cannot get on the pitch at all it’s just mind boggling that we would sign someone like that.

I don’t like this set up and I don’t like the manager’s insistence on it when clearly we don’t have the players to play it. At half time today we should have changed to 433 to give us a more solid defence to counter the 3-4 attackers they had on and the tactic to go long at every opportunity. He didn’t and we had a more uncomfortable 2nd half than we should have – I don’t like the arrogance – to have to adapt and you have to learn and I don’t think WN is doing either.

100% right. I see no improvement from the Hearts game. We’ve just been lucky to play two crap teams on the bounce. The huns are crap but they can attack quickly and in numbers. Really twitchy about this one. If we fail to win at home against the worst Ibrox team ever, hopefully the club will immediately correct this terrible mistake and get in someone safe for the rest of the season. But I have no faith in them doing that…
