3 points thankfully. Concerned— big time about the set-up. Half decent team will punish us.
Elsewhere, Dickinson bails out his team again denying a stonewaller in 90th minute which he had a perfect view of. Motherwell manager calls “ him out and VAR for denying a certain penalty. No explanation is possible.”
Collum is giving Beaton and Dickinson games where they can help their team —- without any punishment. SFA can’t run a legit operation in Scotland.
Our silence is aiding and abetting the cheating.

Chaos reigns unfortunately with this manager and team.
Next two games are pivotal and how many on here can honestly see us getting 6 points from them.

Did you note the decrease on reliance of Calmac today? not a criticism of Cal,he played his part, with a couple of stray ones, not that uber reliant Csl as others stepped up imo

Hope I am wrong but we will be lucky to get 2 IMO, our defence is a disaster and we are struggling to score.

Lots of teams do. Roma and Braga have both given us a lesson at Parkhead in how it can work.

As I said in previous post I missed the game to have lunch in The Citizen with my sister, niece and my daughter who heads back to NY on Monday.
Tales of the Calton in my dads day gave the kids an idea why their parents were well lets say “odd” by their standards, not living in a time when thieving was a way of life.
My pork chop was delicious btw.
Sounds like I escaped 90 minutes of anxiety and my observation on reading comments on bus home is that watching Celtic dominate games for years, where after 30 mins we had full control, is that the certainty that brings has gone under WN.
Under WN although we lost 6 league points we are only 3 behind with a game in hand and our nearest rivals below us are a wee bit further away.
Nothing is certain which is something we have to get used to and perhaps enjoy?
If you cannot change the world then change how you see it.
I can only say this free of the anxiety of watching us play so have to practice what I preach.
Lunch was in The Citizen in St Vincent Street. I can recommend it.

That was a stonewall penalty for Motherwell, even the “neutral” pundits on Sportscene thought so , even if they (a former Rangers player and the current manager of the Rangers women’s team) couldn’t find it in themselves actually to say so.
And , yes, if you are reading this from outside Scotland and don’t get BBC Sportscene , the only pundit on Sportscene, apart from the anchor, is the current manager of the Rangers women’s team.
Neutral and independent my arse.

Neither Ralston nor Yang are comfortable , to put it kindly, in a back 3.
Ralston gets pulled out of position too easily and when he does Yang isn’t giving him the effective cover needed.

More accurately – aren’t comfortable with a back 3 -clearly Yang doesn’t play in one as such.

Just because I come on and slate Maeda for his poor form doesn’t automatically mean I believe every other player was world class. Of course Kenny was crap today, as was Ralston, but I was talking about Maeda.

The 3 – 4- 3 debate: two points.
1. MON back in the day played 5 – 3 -2. Agathe and Thompson were full backs first, wing backs second. We defended really well with 3 big, strong central defenders – e.g. Balde, Mjalby, Vangaeren. Arsenal today are the same, with fast full backs who can track back or invert.
2. My issue with WN’s system is not the he doesn’t have the players. The players he does have don’t understand what he wants. Defensively there is no plan, no structure. There is just panic if we lose the ball. We are the most disorganised defensive team in the league – and that is a scandal.
Next two games give me fear; the fact that if we fail to win either of them he won’t be sacked makes me think the league is not ours. And that is another scandal given how poor the rest of the league is.

Had anyone saw the score without seeing the game their reaction would have been…. Yes!!!
Fact is though every opposing team has breached the Wilfried Line, and our next two opponents are third and fourth in the SPL, though the team in third only as a result of blatant refereeing decisions in their favour in recent weeks. Nothing new to add to what has already been said apart from saying that a back three should include three centre backs and not two fullbacks. Cannot see goal free defending any time soon.
