Anyone managing the best players in the league can play kamikaze attacking football and score a hatfull. But it also means any opponent with an inch of nous will rip you up on counterattack. If playing with no defence was feasible, other teams wolud do it. They don’t.
If I had to guess now I can see this finish 4-4, but even if we win today, the system is unsustainable, and since, he’s a one trick pony, so is Nancy’s position.
I’d rather say all this while we are winning so it doesn’t sound knee jerk.

Amorim played a back four for the first time yesterday. He’s been at MU for over a year.
We wouldn’t be any less of a threat going forward with an extra defender.

On one level this game is entertaining . Unlike the dull Brodgeball horseshoe taking ten passes when two is quicker.
In reality it is kamikaze. Our defending is a heart attack every time the opposition get forward. Livi are the worst team in the league yet look like scoring with every attack, Nancy does not have the players for his defensive system so he needs to go 4 at the back till he has the right guys in. As for our attack, Lots of it but the final ball is usually poor . Nygren showed with our 3rd that goals can be scored from a short or long distance. So far I am having none of this Wilfball. Decent teams will tear us a new one on the counter.
