This is a worry.
Livingston played to their long ball strengths, winning the 50:50s and closing everything done.
We did not turn up today and as we played a man down for 75% of the match after the deserved red card, nothing went for us. We came down to their level – a big mistake.
Also 1st time we haven’t scored this season. No argument with the result. Maybe a kick up the ass we deserved on the day.

route one football was our best effort in the last 5 minutes, everyone knows the surface does not suit football on the deck why did it take so long to go route one, hopefully a big lesson learned.

The case for rotating the squad after a Thursday night euro game has been well and truly made today. It was always going to be a slog. A few more fresh faces would have helped. Bauer was our best player I thought. No coincidence.

Looking at Sevco’s league fixtures, I think we’ll be looking up the table at them well into November.

Well, I thought it would be tough game. 10 men after 26 mins was too much on a pitch where we couldn’t play football where only brute strength would do.

That was gash – tried to play them at their game and lost as they are better at it. Disappointing NL felt that was the way to play – was like Duran v Sugar Ray Leonard 1. SRL went toe to toe with Stones Hands and got beat up – rematch SRL played his game and retired Duran in his stool after 8 rounds. – lesson learned I hope
