  1. Garngad to Croy on

CELTIC: Hart; Ralston, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; Bitton, McGregor (C), Rogic; Forrest, Maeda, Jota.

  2. Garngad to Croy on

SUBS: Bain, Giakoumakis, Abada, McCarthy, Ideguchi, O’Riley, Hatate, Welsh, Juranovic.

  3. It’s a team set up to attack very fast by the looks of it. Plenty of plan B options on the bench too. We’ll file this one under cautiously optimistic!

  4. I guess the strategy is tire them out then bring on O’Riley, Abada, GG and JJ. But they have fresh legs too! Here’s hoping for something special from someone special.

  5. That feels a bit like a “experienced players, get us through this, insurance from the bench kinda selection…”

Not sure I understand how Daizen makes an impact against a giant defence with a slow ball on the carpet kida thing…

Let’s see. Just win our latest cup final and sicken der hun expecting us to slip up.

  6. Clinko,

Before you post Videos of the Dombas conflict,go and do some real research into the subject, instead of Russian propaganda videos.

We already have one halfwit posting every lunatic on the internet,as fact. One is enough. If you can’t be bothered doing any real research,Wikipedia should give a brief lesson on the real story.

  8. We know the defence, that’s it.What will Ange spring on us?.

Watching the B team yesterday,I was staggered by just how good young Bosun is.A teenage VVD.He should be taken out of that team and train with the 1st team, signed on a new contract and gradually given some game time.

We never want to lose this boy.

Sensational player with fantastic physique.Rangers players bouncing off him yesterday.

  9. I’m surprised….over a dozen posts, and no one has complained about the omission (even failing to make the bench) of our star, and purchased at a very expensive cost, French centre half…

  10. Been away a few days so missed out on Celtic news.

I presume Bolingoli didn’t go to that Russian club in the end ?

  11. Well documented why Celtic have struggled at this ground and AP’s team selection with the players we have, is not a contributory factor to why we rarely do well.

It’s the parked bus, doubling up, two banks of 5 formation to thwart the Celtics what does it, but Bitton and Rogic at least give us height in the middle with MacGregor in a more forward role today, looks like GG and Abada aren’t fully fit.

Big day for veteran JF, and Jota and Maeda need to get on the ball.

Strong bench but a long midday expected CSC

I must confess – with Bitton & Rogic returning to the starting XI, and Abada rested on the bench – “very fast” wasn’t the logic that sprung to mind when trying to second guess Ange’s reasoning for todays team…lol

Fair play, I should have been more detailed lol. I saw it as three midfield players who can see a pass quickly and feed the physically quicker forwards. If the midfield trio have one of those days where they shuttle passes sideways or take multiple touches I fear we may struggle and plan B from the bench will be required.

  15. In Ange I trust.

Set the tempo early, quick movement of the ball, shoot on sight (preferably on target too lol).

Good options on the bench to maintain the high tempo for 90 mins, if necessary.

    C’mon the hoops.

  16. Call me Gerry 11.28 – yep, Bitton, Rogic and JF are not our speed merchants that’s for sure.

Bitton will be fastest to see a yellow I would imagine.

    Agreed. 👍

This has the potential to be one of those games were we need a Rogic type to quickly see an opening for a defence splitting pass.

One of Tom’s greatest assets is his speed of thought – a one touch pass/flick on, that gives our forwards a half yard advantage over their defensive markers.

  19. I get too nervous watching on Hesgoal/ reading CQN so, bike ride for me. Hope to see three points added when I return.

I’m surprised, you’re surprised. No great surprise to the rest of us. Its expected 🙂🙂🙂

  22. The squad needs to be kept on its toes.

Not sure that today’s team is the way forward though.

AR needs to be handled carefully — time on the bench has its downside for him.

Positive note — JF looked a much happier character when he came on during the week.

Hopefully NB manages to keep his focus — no early booking please.

Ludge MIB banker bet — Livi looks like the place to try it on.

  23. Ray Singh-Carr on

Bit surprised with that lineup to be honest, but I trust Ange. Some good options on the bench but I’m really hoping for an early goal or two to settle MY nerves if nobody else’s. A win today will be hugely significant, I’d take 1-0 now if offered. HH COYBIG ☘️🤟
