    With just over an hour to go before kick off, may I make a wee mid season plug for the ole POTY thingmy. For anyone reading this, whether you post on here or just lurk, it’s a survey that’s open to all. For any game that you catch, identify which 3 Celtic players most impressed you – sometimes it’s by their overall performance; sometimes it can be for one or 2 individual moments such as goal saving tackles or other moments to turn the game. Put the 3 names in an email and fire it off to me at the address below. No signing up process, no joining fee, just a simple wee survey. And, as some already do, feel free to involve family, friends or whoever. Everyone’s 3 votes all carry equal weight.

     

    Voting for today’s game opens from 1.45pm and will close on Monday evening at 10pm. The results will be posted shortly after that.

    I see John Hartson dropped by Sky for the game, after his VAR comments last week. Not surprising when you consider Sky were the broadcaster who, during lockdown, piped in recorded crowd noise of the famine song during sevco games.

    Mix and match / rinse and repeat — hopefully at some time the starting team will settle down.

     

     

    LHS — AB + SH = has shown a lot of promise / great play.

     

    GT + SH = not so sure / hopefully a big game today.

     

     

    Last time out at Livi — they only left one player on JPNF and he prospered.

     

     

    RHS — AR + JF = Youth policy / player development in the spotlight.

     

    Big gamble hopefully JF will attack on the outside the odd time.

     

    Hopefully they will be so good they will get an encore.
