  1. Good afternoon from a Sunny but cold North Staffs.

Happy and Holy Easter to everyone

Not been on since the start of Lent.

    Have I been missed

Great result on a disgrace of a pitch

  2. Got the job done today. Should hopefully be the last time we have to play on that surface for many years. Long my they rest in the lower divisions.

Subs made a big impact which is good to see. We’re not perfect but good enough to win these games. Big test next week . Looking forward to it.

    Happy Easter

  3. A vital win and a solid performance. We have to call out the officiating again. That’s as clear a pen as you’ll see and in every other league with VAR, the ref will be called to the monitor.

We’ll have to beat the SFA and the Huns to this title.

  4. Astonishing to see so called Celtic fans saying that wasn’t a blatant penalty. Exactly what VAR is meant for.

Then again it is consistent with the usual desperate negativity we see I guess.

  5. Terrible opponent, hun manager, shocking pitch ..les hope they get stuck in the first division for afew years.

Job done, much brighter second half.

Reo, a delight, Kuhn looks an excellent prospect .

    Now. The snake pit awaits.

    7 games?

I think you’re right . Makes it even simpler .

i just saw the derk boerigter played for the ajax legends at liverpool. how did we miss that;)))))))

  8. That is not a football pitch that is not a football team, good riddance to Livingston , I don’t mind underdogs , I can have some sympathy as needs must , but that pitch is disgarceful as is Kilmarnock’s and in the case of them is a huge advantage, without their home form they would also be bottom six.

And the “tackle ” on Kyogo would have been a penalty had it been on any hun.

VAR stayed completely out of it.

  10. Gene 2.05pm

Bada was asking after you and a few of us having been cheering Port Vale on .. so your gone but not forgotten :-)

  11. Celtic assistant manager John Kennedy tells BBC Scotland: “It was sticky at times but we stayed calm. We eventually broke them down and got our goals from that.

“Very professional performance here. That’s part of Livingston’s game plan to do that [slow thing down], I think the officials could do more to speed things up. It’s about entertainment. But we got the goals and the win and that’s what matters.

“The fans want us to play in a certain manner. You see when we’re in full flow, the atmosphere they bring and the boost that gives the players.”

On the build-up to next week’s Old Firm, he adds: “It’s probably the calmest place in Scotland, inside our training ground. The reality is we just have to take each game as it comes.

“We need to prepare properly. If you get up too early in the week and let the emotions get up, that’s draining.”

  12. HE IS RUBBISH

    Life of O’Riley

    FT: Livingston 0-3 Celtic

Twelve goals and 11 assists for Matt O’Riley in the Scottish Premiership this season.

  13. Well played Celtic.

I had Celtic to Win by the Correct Score of….3 – 1@ odds of 10/1 to give me a return of approx £1,250 to go along with my Three Correct SPL Scores yesterday, at odds of…10/1, 15/2 and 11/2.

As soon as Celtic went 3 – 0 up….I was hoping for a Livvy Goal…..LOL.

Still, I got back a good few Quid as I CASHED OUT at just over £140.00, as there seemed VERY LITTLE Chance of Livvy scoring as the minutes ticked by.

When I put the bet on yesterday, I thought that Livvy MIGHT Score One Goal due to Celtic messing up on that Pitch ?

    HH.

  14. Well played Celtic. Hatate brought a calmness and creativity we’ve been lacking. Kuhn looks sharp and taking on defenders. Iwata looked assured and came up with physical when we needed it. CCV controlled the back line.

Downsides – the number of times Kyogo was outside the box when wingers looked to cross. The frustrating Maeda , leans back lazily when crossing – it really is sad as this level (forrest looked better but doesn’t give us the energy of Maeda) .

Alan Muir – cheat but we all know what VAR stands for.

  15. bigrailroadblues on

    Well done the Celtic.

The rest of you are an absolute shower. And that’s fur nothin. So there now. 😉

    BADA

Correct . It shows they were not in the least chastened by recent events . The cheating is as bold as ever.

  17. Good to see Gene back on, hope you are well.

Watched game in Ha’penny Bridge, Benalmafena. Dont usually l listen to Boyd’s so called ‘analysis’, but everything he said about Kyogo penalty incident was so wrong. A first class assshole who should be nowhere near any football never mind our games.

  18. Gene, getting there. Done a few 18 mile trips and now a regular up at Whitelee Windfarm doing various routes to keep things going. May 28th is start date in Leon, can’t wait.
