Look out for Cease and Desist orders

1238

The first thing you do when you raise an asset dispute is issue a Cease and Desist notice.  Inform the other party to stop using your asset, whether it is a piece of intellectual property, like a logo or badge, a piece of equipment or a physical property.

In conjunction with this you also ask for all monies collected in connection with your property to be forward to you.  Football clubs, for example, regularly instruct people, who produce merchandise with unauthorised copies of their club crests, to stop doing so, destroy all unused stock and send them whatever money earned from earlier sales.

If and when a claim reaches court, the first request to the judge is likely to be to freeze use of all assets and cough up cash from sales. Keep your eyes peeled…

CQN Nine-in-a-row Charity Golf Day 2013

Our Annual Charity Golf Day 2013 will take place on Friday 14th June at Aberdour Golf Club.  This is our 9th annual event and I’m delighted to announce that Lisbon Lion and nine-in-a-row striker, Willie Wallace, will be our guest of honour.

After winning everything available to him in Europe, Willie made a new life for himself in Australia, where he established a second career in the game, while retaining strong links to the Celtic ex-pat community.

We will be raising funds for the 125-4-125 appeal, while encouraging all Celtic fans to get involved and stake their claim on what this club is all about.  Cost for the day’s golf and the evening meal and entertainment is £80.  Cost for non-golfers is £45.

The Annual Charity Golf Day is always oversubscribed so get your application for a place in early by emailing, cqnopen2013@gmx.com.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Auldheid – I imagine that this was given the OK by his chums at SFA at the time or subsequent to it. It’s public domain info after all.

Very good points and I agree with most, as I said I take back the late night ‘dick’ post, frustration at the blind support of NL by some that refuse to listen to questioning of him.

For me the midfeild is not creative and is defensive, Scott Brown can be argued as creative and I can see why, I can still remember his through ball a couple of years ago, think it was at home to hearts, loved it, hoping to see it again one day.

    Our last two midfields:

    Forrest, Wanyama, Ledley, Mulgrew

    Commons, Wanyama, Ledley, Mulgrew

A winger, two players playing defensively in the middle and a player best suited to playing centre half, for me the manager has a fear in playing creatives in games it matters, yes he has played McGeogh and Rogic but in games he was forced to or thought he could experiment.

I stand by that is is a poor motivator, the SPL deafeats and performances and cup defeats show that. The shop window players perform in the CL as thats why they came, a downside of the ‘shop window’ transfer policy and I sympathize with the manager in that regard but he should be a better motivator.

Im just glad to see Celtic being discussed here, took some effort and I had to be a dick but great to read a post like yours there, old fashioned CQN there.

With the possibility of selling the stadium early to lease back receding due to ownership issues then they will be desperate to do anything to reduce the delay in returning to the top tier.

If there is so much at stake whats a hundred grand incentive here or there to grease the lift cable.

I have it on good authority that EN was deservedly deported for his verbal and written hate crimes against NFL by the CQN lynch mob.

    Sftb,

That’s what I was going to say but it would have taken too long to post from my phone. :-)

Though it should be acknowledged that en has retracted and apologised for the earlier insult.

  6. For me our so called negative midfield only applies when Mulgrew is in it. Charlie is a centre half, arguably our best, and should not be played in midfield in SPL games unless we have injuries.

Our best league performance this season have been when we played 4-3-3, not a defensive formation and often with Commons as one of the middle 3 (4-2-3-1).

Our biggest problem has been a lack of pace and a lack of width when attacking. Remove Forrest and we have none. In addition none of our strikers are particularly fast over the first few yards either.

  7. The msm, then and now.

Spitting Image’s opening credits from the 80’s posted on The Black Triangle campaign web page.

Only if you’re interested. Not pushing any agenda. Just to be clear.

My apologies, I missed your retraction of the dick comment.

I would say it was not necessary to provoke a response on CQN- We don’t need those tabloid tactics (snub, bash & lambast) here.

I’m sticking with Lenny because he is strong enough to cope with what we throw at him. Unfortunately, I feel he will be head hunted away from CP too. The EPL is voracious as MON’s carer shows.

  9. Gary Hooper has been way below par since the January Transfer window closed.

Now that could be due to him carrying an injury or some personal situation that could have been elivated with a return to England.

The thing is if he is really trying hard enuff when he puts on the Hoops is he Celtic Class?

Moving the spotlight along a wee bit…

I’ve got more of a beef with the 2 ‘dicks’ who, between them – accumulate 12.5% of YOUR SB money every season – Scott Brown & Joe Ledley.

When you add the SB money also wasted on – Miku & Lassad – who are the ‘dicks’ that take these business decisions on oor behalf ?

When I say – YOUR SB money – I do so because I no longer Buy a SB(gave it to my bro) as a result of the boreds warning to us when they brought in – WGS. The bored, to their credit came out and told us that they would be – downsizing. Yeah that included everything apart from – the admission price. hmmmm

To cut a long story short – who puts the ‘dicks’ onto the pitch regardless of previous performances ?

Who appointed the ‘dick’ that puts the ‘dicks’ onto the pitch regardless of previous performance ?

Who appointed the previous ‘dick’ who finished – 20th out of 20 managers in the EPL and deemed him Celtic management Officer material ?

Who appointed the ‘dicks’ who make all these erm…appointments ?

    Answer – YOU do !

Every SB purchased is an endorsement in a bored of directors whose catalogue of – ‘dickish’ appointments has reduced CP to – 30k(and falling) attendances.

Anyway…never mind all of that – lets get on wi the more important stuff…

Think you need to read my post again ……..your statement that I named myself after a deceased club ?……..where did you get that one from…..LOL

Anyway, glad to ‘see’ that you are not a bhun……….LOL…….just get irate at negatonians who don’t appreciate our achievements in this transition season……

On “O… F….. Fan” …….. Don’t know where you got THAT impression from……………..you obviously don’t read my posts…..(sensible man) …….. I stopped going to support my beloved Celtic at ipox some 25 years ago, due to the bhun hatred etc…….and, if they survive, which is very doubtful, I will NEVER step into ANY stadium where their vile hoardes are present….They are, and always have been a curse on Scottish Football / Society……HH (since you are, after all, a bhoy)…….LOL

  12. Estadio National,

Please do not twist my words.

I did not suggest that NFL was MORE passionate, committed & dedicated than Jock Stein. There is not some kind of meter which could make such a measurement.

Neither can anybody argue that Neil is LESS passionate etc. than Big Jock.

NOBODY could be proved to care more about Celtic than our present manager.

He has earned our respect & he gets that respect from almost every Celtic supporter.

YOU are the evidence that there will always be the begrudgers.

  13. doea anyone else think that any time gary hooper has to drop deeper into the midfield to get the ball and keep the moves going that he does a fine job of it, good control, looks up and passes to one of our players?

i know we would rather see him scoring from inside the box all the time but sometimes the games dont work out that way in if it means we have to use him like that then im happy that he can do it
