MATTHEW MacDERMID will be in charge of Celtic’s visit to Dens Park on Sunday for their midday Premiership encounter with Steven Pressley’s Dundee.
It’s the first time the whistler will be involved in a game concerning the Hoops this season.
MacDermid will be joined on the flanks by assistant referees Dougie Scott and Chris Rae while Gavin Duncan will take care of VAR duties.

I’M IN CHARGE…Matthew MacDermid makes a point during Celtic’s 4-1 win over Ross County in Dingwall in January.
It will be Brendan Rodgers’ side’s first away league match since they overcame Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on September 14 when new Bhoy Kelechi Iheanacho lashed in his first goal for the club with a stoppage-time penalty-kick in a 2-1 victory.
In their previous two outings at Parkhead, the Hoops drew 0-0 with Hibs and once again relied on a late, late show against Motherwell to achieve three points courtesy of a diving header from Daizen Maeda to bring down the curtain on a dramatic 3-2 comeback triumph.
The champions are currently trailing Hearts by two points after seven games and the Edinburgh team are due to meet Killie in Ayrshire in their 5.45pm kick-off on Saturday.
