Far too many conditioned that it’s about money.
We don’t need to spend money to bring in quality, we do need to pay good money for their services, prob wages that Pedro won’t sanction, but we can get quality for free, and they will come to scotland for the right wages.
Teams like Malmo, Maribor, Leiga didn’t spend anything like we did, thing is, they didn’t waste what the spent.
They bought in enough quality to beat the likes of us, and get their hands on the honey pot.
While we wasted millions on projects and pish, but the bonus is secure.
Change the policy of jam and gems tomorrow, bring in old heads, pay them a decent wage, let the kids learn from them.
They are out there, Malmo and Maribor have them.

Don’t really know where to start tonight and as a result will probably come across as incoherent.
Team selection : couldn’t help thinking when I saw the team that Ronnie had given in to the boo boys. If izzy was your first choice lb last week what has changed since then? Likewise Efe has been first change at RB all season. Not blaming Janko btw he was what he is an exciting player going forward but as big Johann said not a RB.
Likewise with CF I hoped that Cifti would get the gig as he can win fre kicks hold the ball up and for 60-70 mins would have been my choice then bring Griff on to run the tired legs. Makes me think the pressure got to Ronnie, which in turn makes me think has he reached his limit?
Betcha Ajax figure this out before we do !!!

Very depressing but very true nonetheless. One glimmer of hope will be next season when PL gets his much missed Sevco back and (smashed up toilets and seats aside) will welcome the new challenge by sanctioning another £5m plus to be stuck in the transfer kitty.

Been a big Ronny fan, and certainly gave him a pass on last year’s debacle, but this was very, very poor in terms of team selelection, performance, attitude and organisation. Very poor performance from all concerned (apart from Wee Jimmy and Gordon).
Boyata looks absolutely rotten, by the way. And Charlie at left back instead of Lizzie was a complete and utter disaster.

Gordon Strachan would have put any Celtic side out to beat a poor Malmo side (they were still better than Celtic though!!) home and away…..

Interesting to see so many recalling fondly the days and achievements of Gordon Strachan as Celric manager
I and several others of my acquaintance remember being on here and being slaughtered for defending him. Some of you have short memories.
Ronny Deila is our manager now and is entitled to our support. More importantly he is entitled to the support of those who appointed him.
I don’t expect him to get much before the current transfer window closes. Maybe those in charge of our club are fed up with people singing the 10 in a row song and will be trying to create a more level playing field.

Ronny will win the SPL and if Celtic have any true ambitions to play at a higher level then we will see what Celtic do to rise to that challenge. I hope we have a plan B however right now I don’t see where that will come from. Gutted but not surprised and that’s not good. HH GMB

How would you propose we get rid of DD.
He is the majority shareholder and probably has the support of even more proxies.
Do we all want him to put his own money in to buy players?
That would further increase his majority holdings.
Whichever way you look at it, fortunately or unfortunately, we are structured to stand on our annual revenues from ST sales.
It’s the fans who support signings and salaries, not some sugar daddy.

The current Hun loving custodians have hamstrung Celtic in Europe permanently. A club with Celtics EPL driven turnover should at least have handled Malmo
However the truth of the matter is that our custodians are really not interested in the same objectives as its fans
One wants success on the park the other wants to dmhance their pension before the whole shithouse goes up in flames
Bourne, Basel/Basle, have looked really good in Europe the past two or three seasons. They play a style which I think Ronny wants us to do.
They manage to get players from all over the world and don’t seem to have problems with getting work permits for these players.
We appear to be stuck in a dead end the now with no sign of advancing in any direction. Stuck in a footballing environment that doesn’t want us and our board’s lack of ambition to make some impct on the pitch in Europe.
The board have managed the club sensibly in an off the pitch business sense but as football is our main business, they have to come up with a better plan or policy than they have at the moment.
Our main business appears not be their priority. A bit more investment in the team please.

Where to start? Thought all our main players,with Craig Gordon excepted, chose the worst night to have a dreadful game.Brown,Bitton,Johansen’. The best performers were the young loads.Referee was shocking but we were not at the races all night. Maybe a blessing in disguise but I don’t think so as Malmo were not a good team but were the hungrier outfit.Still be there for the EL games and all the league games I can,because ,that’s what Celtic supporters do. KTF. BTW,,Mr. Pastry,when you were congratulating yourself on your ‘forecast’ of the game you forgot to mention your desire to have CM in place instead of Izzy! As I told you VP’s taxi’s turning circle is less than his and I think I might be faster than him and I am getting on to Sunset Strip age.Sorry,young lhads not loads.Why can’t the fn thing print what you press?
