For a self confessed devious man I think choreography fits the scene precisely.
Somebody has made him an offer he cannot refuse for a business that is unsustainable. Whoever takes over makes it sustainable by either selling assets for reletting or cut backs on wages.
Given that the ridiculous wages being paid could be cut back without impacting on their promotion prospects that would look the most likely course of action. However the mindset at play seems incapable of grasping the spend only what you earn concept (having not been exposed to it for more than ten years)so who knows what will happen next and as long as they are not in the same division as us who cares? Its when they return, if to the same governing environment as at present that concerns me.
It will make honest mistakes look like the good old days when you thought refs were at it but could not prove it. By then we will know they are at it but can do nothing about it because we failed to act when we had the power.
