  1. The positives were there for all to see.

We created plenty of chances and could have won.

A great learning environment for our players is Europe.

Brendan has taken mostly last years team and blended them into a very good unit.

    It’s all about coaching.

  2. O.G.

interesting anology, I’ve always imagined them crawling out from under a rock, a little different from crawling out of a hole.

    Not much in it though:-)

  3. The most overused cliche in SMSM ‘the dead rubber’.

Superb draw for Celts – Griffiths MacGregor and MacKay Steven misses away from home in the CL, cost a lot of Euros and six points.

    Onwards to El Glasico CSC

  4. Can’t complain at that, very mature performance from Celtic. A dead rubber but not many teams will go to City and keep the ball as well.

I’m happy, onwards and hopefully improvement.

  5. How far we have progressed in 6 months.

An intelligent, hard working, assured collective that is an absolute pleasure to watch.

Scott Brown was immense.. hell they all were.

English Man City fans with me were impressed with how immense Celtic were too…

    Roll on The Future…

  6. What you need to remember is the premier league commentators back their teams in games against foreign opposition…..Whereas in Scotland ?

We will get plaudits for that performance , even though it was against a second string ( my erse)

    Up the hoops

  7. Well we only got three points same as 3 years ago. There just about ends the resemblance. Then we were clearly a worse at the end of game 6 this time we are much better now than 5 games ago.

Obviously makes a difference having a top class manager but we have good players too with not one looking out of place. A worry about wee James though.

Well I am proud of them though no doubt some will say we are an embarrassment.

    Jimbo67

  8. Incidentally that £144 m team we played includes the sub Navas at £22.9 m

Think we could have win that game with Sinclair playing :-)

    Hail Hail

  9. Btw, City play some lovely stuff…it woukd be nice if their fans appreciated it from time to time by banging their hands together or making noises out of the holes in their faces.

Celtic support were amazing – not one single nanosecond of silence from them.

    Marvellous, isn’t it?

Only one team in Scotland on a journey (if you discount going back into the hole you crawled out of).

    Well done BR

    )))))

Take your point re that mob but, be fair, Hearts are on a journey and showing how to come back from the abyss with dignity

  11. O o o o o

    O o o o o

    Glasgow Celtic

HH best team? That Griff chance gggrrrr (said in a desperate Dan tone) What a difference blessed Brendan has made.

  12. Ah well sevco…yet another half a mill in the Celtic coffers £££££££££££££££

Yous canny get a sniff !

    Giruy !

  13. Well done Celtic.Deserved point could have been more, still dont know how that ref behind the goals or the ref cannot see the pull on Roberts at the end of the first half, they will counter that with Jozo’s slide which hit his hand but he was close to the kicker, I thought the ref bought all their collapsing when anyone near them, Broonie was Broonie gave their midfield a serious hard time.

  14. The money is massive, however, the confidence, the experience and respect Celtic will have earned from this campaign cannot be underestimated.

Brendan Rodgers is shaping up to become a Celtic legend.

  15. Game was there for us to win tonight, but the performance and the confidence was well noticed, a great all round effort by every player was a pleasure to watch, punching above our weight?

Of course we where but we didn’t let it bother us, fans and players and coaching staff, take a bow, you done us proud.

  16. Who would’ve given us a snowball’s of getting 3 draws after Match Day 1?

A bit painful over the 6 games but definite progress………………….

and for anyone who took my advice (Saturday) – said: get your money on Celtic +1 @3/1.

    Well done Bhoys! :-)

  17. Jim Payne, only the uninformed could be embarrassed by our performance in the CL this time around.

    We did good.

  18. Well done Celtic. Really confident performance and with a referee not in the pocket of UEFA we could have won.

Thought Brown and Sviatchenko were outstanding…

… But if any player looks like an EPL target, it is Rogic. He has all the components to thrive in that league.

  19. GreeninbingleyinOslo on

    Great stuff. Great stuff.

Well done every single one of them, and Brendan. Gone toe to toe with Guardiola and half a billion worth of talent, and matched them. We could have beaten them home and away given the rub.

Delighted. Proud. This is what Celtic is about.

Hail! Hail! The Celts are here!

  20. GlassTwoThirdsFull on

Draw probably a fair result. Good to see GMS back showing some form.

Defence looking better all the time, although we need to be better organised when we have corners.

  21. Spotted a couple of the grey brigade from the Blane Valiey in the crowd, nice to at least two of the gang there.

  22. Do Man City have any English players??

Souless team in a soulless league?

Outsung the whole game in their own stadium, maybe they’re slightly embarrassed at being the plaything of a Sheik.

Well played Celtic, a lot to relearned from this years campaign in preparation for next’s years CL.

    Bring it on right on
