Mariners confirm Rogic deal

963

Tomas Rogic’s club, Central Coast Mariners, formally announced they had agreed terms to transfer the player to Celtic a few hours ago.  The Australian attacking midfielder, who turned 20 last month, will require a work permit before the transfer is concluded, but should be a formality.

After having an extensive look at the player, Neil Lennon will think there is an excellent chance he will be a successful addition to the team, but it’s worth remembering that Victor Wanyama joined at the beginning of last season at the same age as Tomas and took six months before securing a regular starting place in the team.
[calameo code=000390171cc0c3617c8cc lang=en page=80 hidelinks=1 width=100% height=500] I have avoided all YouTube clips of the player (which are notoriously misleading) but by all accounts he is an excellent prospect, however, he will need our support and encouragement as he settles into life in Scotland – especially if he acclimatises to the Scottish game.

  1. Blizzard in Bournemouth…..bizarre.

But fun, sitting in dressing gown watching it all from big front room windows, drinking lemon tea.

  2. So saddened by the news of Sean Fallons death.always recall my late father telling me of the time, during a rangers game, the opposing full back(i think it was sammy cox), was something of an animal, but, due to the style of football back then,Fallon could not get near the guy, until the day said full back sustained an injury, since there was no such thing as subs,if the injury was not deemed too serious, the injured player would be stuck out on the wing, more as nuisance value than anything else, this was fallons chance, the first time the ball came to the guy,Sean hit him with a fair tackle, game over for him.Next days headline read, cox falls at the mountains of mourne, god bless Sean Fallon.

If thems are fined and refuse to pay and they are not brought to book ….the end of Scottish football….we may as well let th Huns make all the rules

  4. R.I.P and God Bless Sean Fallon.

After helping Celtic win the Scottish Cup against Motherwell Fallon said later: “As I walked off Hampden Park I felt I had got everything out of life I had ever wanted. I had become a member of the famous Celtic FC and holder of a Scottish Cup badge all in one year.”

    He lived the dream…

  5. Today our special club has lost one of its greatest ambassadors.

  8. I see the owner of TSFM blog has again requested that there should be no more comment about the old club/new club question unless there’s something different to be added to the argument. He also urges people to stop posting if they don’t like what he has to say.

Isn’t that just what they want us all to do….don’t argue against them and just accept the big lie?

Thank goodness we have no such restrictions on here.
