You and I spoke a week ago about the next managerial appointment. Martin O’ Neill explained to us at the end of the season that he needed time to consider if he wanted the job next season. We discussed that Celtic were conducting interviews with other candidates (plural) in case he declined.
But! If course he wanted the job. Those who blindly bought into other narratives over the last week need to take a look at yourselves. Honestly! Some poor lads were traumatised by you.

Re 1st leg were U2 playing Barrowland same night
Might be wrong

AT, U2 played Barrowlands the night of the infamous second leg v Rapid. I was at the gig and we thought all was great with Celtic win until we got to The Vogue and found out about what had gone on.
I was at a U2 concert, what an atmosphere that was, we were steaming and ended up down the front right close to the Edge.

Close to the edge, down by a river. Yes? 😉

BBC Sports Shortie that’s a whole other story. Before the match they took the time to show how the tragedy of Bullie’s injury came to pass against some Dutch Colonial Islanders. Nobody near Gilmour makes a side footed pass forward, and then goes down in a heap. Now, I could be wrong, but I’m guessing that he had a problem with his knee and was trying to wing it across the Atlantic, even as a passenger. Caught out…..
You wont hear that from Beeb Scotty…

Nice one squire…😉
I was just thinking how it’s great to be a Celtic supporter, then three games I attended came to mind.
Milan – Feyenoord, Manchester- Rapid ,Hampden – Patick Thistle .
Would I change it ,never it was and is always a pleasure to watch the Green and white hoops HH
One’s called Danny, one’s called Shank,
One wears a dodgy wig, the other one?
I couldn’t possibly comment.
Celtic Mac……………..
Aye indeed……….

Meanwhile the German National Anthem rings out in Paris……
Beethoven methinks….not a patch on the likes Andy Cameron and BA Robertson though….

Nice one, LR67
The lack of a museum is a big gap in our cultural offering.
Great work done by these groups.
IMHO the club should be taking more ownership.
Genuine question …
… how big would a Celtic museum physically need to be?
Incredibly rich story.
I reckon we could comfortably dedicate a single space to each decade of our existence

Thanks for that,we really had a good team then, football on a more even keel money wise.
We should have just ceded game but as Bsr says Desmond seen money
Bsr close to the edge :-)))class

Christian Eriksen collapsed during Denmark’s friendly against Ukraine but is now conscious, says the Danish Football Association (DBU). The game was suspended after 75 minutes. Think it may be his last game.
Gene,
Since Test matches are no longer on Council Telly, I just watch the highlights on BBC 2 in the evening.
This time, that was pretty much the same as watching the whole game live !!
Gilmours injury is a serious one.Like Jotas they come like a bolt from the blue.Try being informed before spouting nonsense.
Nothing against Gilmour.Even his rabid Maw could not keep him at Ibrox.Left them ASAP without any big transfer fee going their way.Good boy .😇
What happened to the Celtic museum money?
Looking through Billy Gilmour’s rabid maw eyes 👀 🇬🇧
Thought Martin O’Neill might get a gig as pundit @ the World Cup but don’t see any sign of him in the opening week. Usual suspects listed for both ITV and the BBC. Like Wayne Rooney. Surprised Scott Brown is getting a look-in when Celtic aren’t playing, though he did play for Scotland on more than one occcasion. Kris Boyd will be working for Radio 5, don’t mind him as a pundit, think he is a pretty good analyst, and far more informative than Pat (BabbleOn) Nevin, who when commentating you’ve no idea where the ball is. Rachel Corsie and Eilidh Barbour there too, do not see any sign of Michael Stewart, hope he is not getting replaced by er Kenny Miller….
Shooting near England world cup training centre in Missouri, 9 dead, not confirmed
Try giving the board credit when due. Inamura’s Windfall, as Auld Head pointed out, it money that can be used to buy new players under the rules.
Some players don’t work out, farming them on loan to recover or even grow the original purchase price is a lot of work in the back room that contributes to the teams success. Still scratching my head how we got £25m for Kuhn who had half a good season then faded.
Hail Hail onto 57
Wee Gilly has a history of knee injuries. Not to mention hamstring and quad problems.
As any fool k now…. the knee bone is connected to the thigh bone…(not available in Turkey)

If any scout is worth his money …he won’t be with the hoops next season….
Celtic Mac,
Unfortunately for you the Brain is in charge of the Jawbone.
Morocco ,very difficult game for us.Norway struggling to make any clear chances.Harland,anonymous.1-0,HT.Not being played like a friendly.
Someone wanting MON doing punditry at the WC.
Yep,great idea, fek all else to do.In saying that, the last couple of days of the transfer window,a long time away, probably does have time.My apologies.
cheers Thunderroad enjoyed that

If he doesn’t decide it is, someone else needs to decide it for him.
Martin has come a long way…….
From Beachball Sunday…..
To Tennis ba’ Thursday
And can tell the difference between the two…
Maybe better let him make up his own mind as how best to judge footballers….
And ignore those who didn’t want him as Celtic Manager
In Martin (some of us) we Trust
if Nick Dougherty mentions ‘Jack’ one more time…😬
Taurangabhoy @ 8:33pm
Lol.
A tiny, tiny minority will never give the Celtic Board credit for anything.
Simplistic “Four legs good, two legs bad” binary view that adds nothing.
On the positive side…….
What young European professional footballer really thinks…………
Scottish football ……and the SPL is a way of enhancing your career !!
CELTIC
Weirdly we’ve had a few 🥴
Good luck Martin
As for Inamura?
Looked neat and tidy. Good touch.
Personally, I thought he lacked a bit of aggression.
Brendan took a good look at him and said either “no” or “not just now”
(We’ll never know which)
IMHO Inamura was still worth a punt.
Decent standard of player … who might have made it at Celtic …
… but in this case didn’t
In today’s market I don’t think he is over priced at €1.2m
Lots of football clubs have museums, i would love celtic to have one as well. However, any celtic museum must include the social story around the club. The histroy of the reason the irish arrived in scotland, the irish in glasgow, the challenges faced and the way celtic acted as a central point for those people to stand, be proud and be safe alongside friendly faces from irlenad and scotland. Also how that rich social history has shaped the clubs supporters views then and now alongside a histroy of the onfield successes.
“Wrong”
The standard, after the fact, non-offensive European response to these gangsters.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cjwg387040wo
Doesn’t modify their behaviour one jot.
I wonder who will be the first European leader to stand up and say summat like …
“We echo Pete Hegseth’s comments at the D-Day memorial when he said …
‘The men who fought and died here restored freedom to Europe. That freedom must be maintained by this generation of leaders and war fighters or what they fought for was merely temporary’
… we in Europe have not forgotten the Nazis, and we will stand united against any undemocratic regime led by a narcissistic, war mongering, ego maniac surrounded by sycophantic toadies”
Robbie hasn’t gone away you know!

Darren O’Dea did part of his Celtic interview on Sportscene on Celtic 3-1 Hunbos title clinching day and none of the BBC crew could lay a glove on the impressive O’Dea which was good to see.
