Ange Postecoglou changed his ways during last season, but not before he became a caricature of intransigence. Tottenham’s faults were not all his, but he owned this particular fragility. Spurs because Darwinism in action.
Celtic seem to re-employ managers on a predictable loop. So he might be back. He’ll be a better manager for his EPL lessons. I’d take him in a heartbeat.

Two years ago this would not have been a controversial sentiment. Nobody wanted him to leave. Since then Ange has shown he has it in him to a major European trophy.
No doubt Pauls up to a bit of mischief but I’m not sure what’s really wrong with the statement. Brendan will go, like every Celtic manager before him and we will look to replace him with the best Celtic manager we can find.
Theres no comparison drawn between Ange and Brendan in that post btw.
It is possible to appraise one of our managers without there being implied praise or criticism of another

Quite why folk see this as a dig against our current manager who has not done quite so well in any of the metrics mentioned I don’t know. Only a European CL achievement of last 24 helped by a favourable draw would suggest the current man is doing any better.

I enjoy how we play. We lose less goals than Anges teams did.
We win more european games.
Ange has won once for us in the champions league. Brendan has won 4.
There is one league cup between their trophy totals across 2 seasons.
I dont think we are any weaker really, pretty much the same depth in squads, and value of player pool.
If I was Brendan I would be saying, lWhat will help me stay is let go off the current Chairman, and here is some names for board members to take us forward.
They both must know plenty of executives that could do n-exec roles.

I don’t know the Epl positions on the final day BUT if Ange went into that game with a risk of relegation on that game, and played his hari-kari Ange-ball stuff, then Spurs were correct to sack Ange.
Just like Brendan’s horrible CL record in his 1st spell and then come back and show the same naivety is a Celtic thing.
But to start talking about Ange coming back to Celtic were he could then show the Celtic fans that he is just another One horse league extrordinaire like, Brendan, looks good with zero opposition, then the words of Charlie Nicholas were correct all of those long years ago when he said that: “CELTIC FC IS NO LONGER A FOOTBALL CLUB, ITS A RICH MAN’S HOBBY HORSE!”

I was in Edinburgh and Manchester at events last months.
No getting away from it, without a smart phone you cannot do most things in these cities.
I downloaded many apps for train , bus and tram travel in both cities.
My hotel stay was booked and booked in via an app.
My event ticekts via app.
I felt both cities were very far advanced compared to Glasgow.
What I did notice in all the crowded spaces, people of all ages, mostly visiotrs, all with smart phone in hand.
Ypu are tracked offcourse you are, but that is seen as advancement in our societies.
Not long till celtic do the same.
maybe they can fill up the empty seats.
Dangerous stuff ahead and remember some sportswear has tracking components woven into their garments as well, and Adidas are thoroughly dodgy!

He did win the second best European trophy.People forget,he lost more than half. his best players in a catastrophic injury crisis in the EPL.
I love Brendan,but if he does not sign an ex tension we have a problem.Would take Ange back in a minute as a successor,unless some of the experts on here,acting like that mob,have their head filled with bling..Think Ange is older and wiser.

Yes, he had a lot of injuries, significantly weakening his squad. He kept on playing that crazy high line. It didn’t work with his first choice players, it was unlikely to work with kids.
In fact the only evident change he made was in the 2nd half of the Europa Cup final against Man Utd.
We all like the guy, but he is some distance away from being a elite coach.
As for Brendan’s extension: I hope that it gets sorted in the coming weeks. If not, we have a year to find the best coach available.

I had it on a LUCKY 15 Bet with TWO other winners at Epsom, sadly my 4th Selection was well beaten…but Three out of Four aint bad. Over those Three Bookie lines, I got back just over £62.00.
I also got the DERBY FORECAST UP….with LAMBOURN being First at 13/2 and LAZY GRIFF at 50/1 finishing in 2nd place….Ya Dancer !
The Computer Forecast paid out just over £316.00 for a £1.00 Stake….I had it for 50 Pence.
I also had the Epsom PLACEPOT UP… It paid out £739.80 for a £1.00 Stake.
I did it for 10 Pence Units with TWO Selections in Four of the Races, and Two ” Bankers” in the other Two Races.
So I got £73.00 back for my £1.60 Stake.
Overall…Not too shabby.
