Darwin’s ‘survival of the fittest’ quote doesn’t actually mention the fittest:
“It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change.”
Being able and prepared to rapidly abandon your ways to thrive in a new reality is a lesson many of us learn.
Ange Postecoglou changed his ways during last season, but not before he became a caricature of intransigence. Tottenham’s faults were not all his, but he owned this particular fragility. Spurs because Darwinism in action.
Celtic seem to re-employ managers on a predictable loop. So he might be back. He’ll be a better manager for his EPL lessons. I’d take him in a heartbeat.

Stephenbhoyboy @ 11:45pm.
Really good post.
Agree with many of your thoughts.
Anyone know an email address for the stadium manager?
I was intending to contact him/her after I renewed re condition of South Stand.
Nothing earth shattering.
Cleanliness and safety which are the least we should expect.
An earlier poster, apologies can’t recall who, raised an interesting post about lack of communications about what is just going on at Celtic.
As someone who is reasonably supportive of the board’s strategy, I think comms are a big fail.
Closer to an ‘F’ than a ‘D’.
What probably frustrates me most is, IMHO, it is largely not a difficult ask.
I believe there is a broadly receptive audience.
(You’ll get a tiny minority who’ll moan about everything you do – the what and the how)
We’re interested in Celtic. Period.
First team, reserves, youths, ladies, academy structure, training centres, stadium, stadium footprint, big works, small works, plans, strategies, club history.
Missed opportunities to inform.

BADABING Ask your many contacts why the upgrades in and around the stadium aren’t getting seen to ,also I think you had a pop at me last night regarding Dermot Desmond not putting some of his cash on some overdue work that’s needing done at Celtic Park.
Incorrect, I said DD might not be keen on AP ever returning to CP,due to the way he left. I have heard nothing re stadium development, and IMO the cost v the amount of added seats, doesn’t add up,I did propose buying the Emirates Arena,as it’s very rarely used, and could be utilised on match days for hospitality etc,and non match days as a concert venue, conferences etc.I posted a few years ago, my pal who built the Ticket Office, was asked a price to relocate it to opposite side of the stadium, off Springfield Road, as plans for the hotel, were where the existing TO stands, but it’s went quiet on that project for a while now.HH
Excellent post that Bhoys are referring to.
parks to soften the look of parking areas. On that actually tarmac all the carparking areas. Make the place look more appealing and friendly on the eye.
Improve celtic television (add youth and b team games, more programmes etc)
Getting all that work done would likely cost the thick end of £40 million and would likely need to be done in phases to reduce disruption but entirely possible, within financial reach and puts supporters experiece and growth at forefront of agenda.
Good afternoon all from the Victoria Bar. Rather overcast in old Glasgow Town.
It’s possible our new GK Ross Doohan ,could start for Scotland tomorrow, would be good experience

Stephenbhoyboy @ 11:45pm.
re comms it was me.
Stephbhoys list was good, But many of these items might be worked on as part of routine maintenance prograamme, Celtic spend £2m near enough on this every season, why not tell us each month what works are taking place, and who the contractors are.
As ro murals, there is a lot of excellent Paint-works on the lower concourse, take the time to turn up early and take a walk around the ground floor.
I often will go stare at a section of the named bricks, incredible how often i see someone i know.
simple thing but the banners that cover the exterior were being replacedlast week, why not make it a story.

Mbappe scores for France. Again.
I see Chris O’Shea was on Radio 4 earlier today as a contributor to the 9am news magazine programme, called and from Broadcasting House in London. CEO of Centrica, Chris was present at the Scottish Cup final last season to, might even have presented the trophy itself to Celtic (British Gas is the sponsor), which if so would have been a labour of love for one who attended St Pauls RC Primary in Glenrothes and Holy Cross HC in Hamilton. Made a very informative contribution not least on increased energy/electrical demand re AI/Data Centres etc. And also managed to mention Celtic FC in the context of a piece on Glastonbury audiences and headliners namely Neil Young and Rod Stewart, who he said he runs into, where else but while going to watch the Bhoys.
Fair play him.
He should have mentioned Kneecap too :) as if…

He has described Celtic supporters as “special” and the best fans in European football, and said he identifies strongly with the club’s mascot Hoopy the Hound – describing it in one interview as a “match made in heaven”.

Snoop also said that he wanted to open a Burger Van outside Celtic Park….
Maybe could get Stan Petrov to work with him on that project
Snoop Dog
But he said he would not be taking his culinary ventures to Rangers, Celtic’s Old Firm rivals.
Snoop told the Mail on Sunday: “Am I going to bring my burgers to Rangers as well? Nah, I think we will give that a miss

If Elon Musk ( who has a lot of faults ) hadn’t removed the tyrannical woke swamp ie: 95% of Twitter employees when he bought the company, then Ireland’s voiceless Majority wouldn’t have a voice.

Ye’ll see they are doing up George Square and all the statues have been shifted, though the one of Walt Scott is still perched up in the middle. The guy who never set foot in Glasgow. Now would be a good time to do the statue switch and I’ve thought of a replacement. One of the all-time great Glaswegians, Benny Lynch! He would be about the same size as Walt so the change would be feasible. I would even have Sean O’Grady up there rather than the mini hun , as he has even been to Glasgow and briefly lit up a sad West of Scotland in April 1981.
Ireland has been krankied = trashed!
BUT, Ireland’s vast Majority are good People.
Irish Journalist, Chay Bowes, is one of those good Irish People.
An Irish Journalist, Chay Bowes, who isn’t allowed to do “Journalism” in ( liberal ) Ireland had to move to Russia, to be allowed to do his job without MSM handcuffs.

*No but when Franz Schubert wrote one of his most popular works, “Ave Maria”, which has been recorded by numerous artists including, Andrea Bocelli, Maria Callas and Celine Dion and the inimitable Luciano Pavarotti, he used the words of Sir Walter Scott’s epic poem The Lady of the Lake which although based on Loch Katrine was actually written in Ross Priory on the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond
