The postponement of last night’s game at Pittodrie means Celtic will have at least four games more than Hearts before the post-split Scottish Premiership fixtures being in April. If they reach the Scottish Cup semi-final, it will be six more. If Celtic progress through another two round of the Europa League, that figure would grow to 10 more games before the split. That is a material difference.
Newco are out of Europe and therefore have two fewer games on their roster, with a cup game against lower-league opponents, whereas Celtic face Dundee in the cup on Saturday. The next 10 weeks will exhaust the players physically and mentally; Martin O’Neill will need all his experience and his entire squad to keep momentum rolling.
Winning this league would be a huge achievement, one of the biggest this century and an ominous sign to others.

Don’t underestimate the zionist lobby’s impact on the GB ban.
The GB were one of the most high profile backers of the Palestinian cause (albeit a lost cause) in this poxy island.
The publicity was unwelcome whilst the UK gov was complicit in genocide.
Now that gaza has gone they might get back in.

Burnley78 @ 11:04 pm,
Well you ought to have read his post, he actually highlighted where I was correct..
Please don’t accuse me of saying he was clever – I’ve never said that (the Voltaire stuff gave it away;)
I’ve bandied about the “smartest guys in the room” stuff but that was tongue in cheek banter…
To be fair to GM, in the regard of being rich and successful – that was mainly you bigging him up big time
You said you knew him and he was some kinda’ super trader…
Whatever – you know fine well Lawyers would have been pall over this $h!t you have had business challenges and understand these mechanisms.

BTW Burnley78,
When did you play at Bisham Abbey
The original “state of the art astro turf” was there as they were a “National Sports Centre”
I played on it when it was first laid
Did my signature sliding tackle and left half of my thigh skin on the state of the art “turf”…

Very relevant now methinks.

The word dialogue is bandied about a lot but the key ingredient, the” sine qua non” (get me and Higher Latin) is trust.
The full Decalogue Dialogue can be read at
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1iGs5NDx08g1O5A1PdUjBCfTN6foSHmk0hifUwO3-Djc/edit?usp=sharing
and it lies in a dusty floppy drive in a Celtic Park Office .
==========================================================
All the commandments in the Decalogue Dialogue are of equal importance but I found Commandments 7 and 10 particularly carry more significance in this dispute.
A post of great substance that brings both clarity and much needed objectivity, as, in the end, this dispute will only be resolved by meaningful dialogue.
This aged well.
Unfortunately more evidence of a fantasist who simply makes things up to suit his agenda.

Good Morning Fholks – Grand Day To Be A Tim
Tim Malone Will Tell @ 8:54 am,
SERIOUSLY!?
You think his refusal to sell Arne for £25 mn wasn’t “divisive”
:)))))))))))))
CHAIRBHOY on 3RD FEBRUARY 2026 9:38 AM
Tim Malone Will Tell @ 9:23 am,
Do you seriously think for one moment that the Celtic Board did not want to sell Arne?
CHAIRBHOY on 3RD FEBRUARY 2026 1:58 PM
Tim Malone Will Tell @ 1:49 pm,
You are an ignoramus…
Do you even listen to Martin and Shaun’s media conferences and interviews?
Spikies I’ve been in touch with Mossad, my contacts at the Rothchilds, my cabal is releasing the sleeper cell in the GB and we have resurrected a golam who is taking up one of the boycott tickets for the Dundee game. I have been assured that the GB are the number one priority in global insurrections and that no expense will be spared to take them down. There is one intelligence report that says even Celtic supporters who think the board could do better, and not have a bad year, think the GB have zero self awareness and have already run their race. However we are taking no chances and Ziva David has been brought out of retirement. Recommend tin foil hat.
Tauranga bhoy
Did the murdering bastards say anything bout the amount of child killing the Zionist scum compete to carry out?
Or do you deny Genocide too
Good morning CQN
Another fine day to be a Celt.
spikeysauldman @ 11:33 pm
Don’t underestimate the zionist lobby’s impact on the GB ban.
———-
No offence intended to a genuine fellow Celt … but I’m going to go ahead and underestimate it.
The basis of the GB ban is far more parochial
In broader terms, that zionist lobby you mention?
I believe it to be real and proactive.
E.g. The response to Pep’s latest.
“Butt out
Stick to what you know … which isn’t this
Employer?
You listening to what your employee is saying?
He’s making you look bad”
Standard operating procedure.
Another noteworthy element, IMHO?
The speed with which the BBC picked it up and ran with it.

who mentioned Mossad ?

that intelligence report – its the team who might have a bad year – the board have been failing the fans for several years
Spikeys @ 9:03am – I hear you.
“Proactive” is, perhaps, being kind.
But then again, being kind is a good thing
The Blogger Formerly Known As GM @ 8:20 am
Yes, you’re now at the level of trolling round looking for tidbits of comments to C&P to make some sort of point.
So no, it lasted to early evening on that same day…
”Chairbhoy on 3rd February 2026 6:45 pm,
BSR @ 4:51 pm,
Totally agree…
As I’ve said many a time, the “moneyball” aspect of recruitment should be good for a club like Celtic.
However, it must be carefully planned, with a compatible development structure in the club and be part of a holistic recruitment strategy i.e. quality, experienced professionals to backfill sales should be priority.
The Celtic Executive’s approach was lazy, a “recruitment model” that made their life easy
On top of that the implementation, like that of all things football, was between poor and non-exsistent.
Let’s look at Yang as an example…
A prospect on a five year contract that would take two years to develop into a first team player, then you want two seasons out of him then sell for a profit whe.n convenient, that could mean a contract extension.
However, the Board want these players utilised immediately, fast track development and sold asap…
Irrespective of the footballer…
Now with Kuhn that was managable and he could have been a poster bhoy for the “model” but of course, he wasn’t back filled properly so the team lost goals and assists it could ill afford.
Matt O’Riley is of course the poster bhoy for the model but even then because he was back filled by a player who cost 10 mn + at the behest of the manager, the same manager who had navigated the development and sale of Matt with aplomb – a faction of the Board was up in arms about the spend and undermined the player and manager at every opportunity to prove a point.
A very odd state of affairs…
Listening to Martin’s presser, it would seem to me a corner has been turned and uncommon sense has broken out in the Boardroom with regard to recruitment.
This of course could be a short term measure to dig the club out of the huge hole they made – and like Ange’s recruitment, is a temporary resbite.
Yet, surely they must understand a root and branch review of the club and a resteucturing is crucial for the club to stay competitive.
Hail Hail
Of course we had another interview by Martin yesterday with Chris Sutton and this clarified things even more…
Chris Sutton: Is it true you went down a different avenue with recruitment…
Martin O’Neill: If you’re asking me honestly, I think that I wasn’t totally convinced about the [previous] recruitment for Celtic Football Club.
“It’s still a big club, and the ambition of the football club is to play big European matches, to be involved in big European games.
“We’ve actually turned down big, big money this week [Arne Engels]
“I know it was very late in the transfer market and so getting ideal replacements in was going to be difficult, but surely that might show you a sign that at least we’ve held onto our players.
“Did I go into the board and say to them, ‘are you going to stop this?’ No, I didn’t; they stopped it themselves, so they’ve got to get some credit for that.”
Yet, he had said on the Sunday that as far as he was concerned Arne Engels wouldn’t be sold – unless they offer 100 mn;)
So it looks like, for now anyway, the bonkers recruitment “model” gone…
As quadrophenian @ 9:39 pm put it..
Peter/Paul’s vaunted signing model looks well-consigned to the WPB.
Hail Hail

The public endorsements of the past have become silent endorsements of its present genocide.
Therefore, we must acknowledge the perverse honesty of israels open defenders while watching most carefully for those whose silent support will one day again reveal itself.

Next week, on Feb 12, three men. 29,27 & 23 will appear in Court in Glasgow after being charged in relation to the incident on 29/10/25 at the Celtic – Falkirk match. No names no packdrill. A 31 year old man, is also due to appear in Court, separately after having been charged in connection with the assault of a steward at the same game. Members of the GB, on a Homebhoys – Room 1 on 1 podcast, linked on here, described events that night as “a rather trivial incident”. Maybe, lets wait and see just how trivial.
Tauranga Bhoy.
Fair enough, tho the GB dont have the sanction of life or death(some on here would argue differently:-))
Onto the title
HH
Does anyone have any information about how the proceedings against the stewards who assaulted the children in Celtic Park recently.
It’s gone rather quiet on that front.
It might be helpful if it All Went Quiet on the Western Front…..
And the Eastern Front now that I think of it….
Just watched for the first time Brian Wilson’s wee chat with Celtic TV.
Not bad.
If the follow up happens as he suggests?
We might be on to something.
