The postponement of last night’s game at Pittodrie means Celtic will have at least four games more than Hearts before the post-split Scottish Premiership fixtures being in April. If they reach the Scottish Cup semi-final, it will be six more. If Celtic progress through another two round of the Europa League, that figure would grow to 10 more games before the split. That is a material difference.
Newco are out of Europe and therefore have two fewer games on their roster, with a cup game against lower-league opponents, whereas Celtic face Dundee in the cup on Saturday. The next 10 weeks will exhaust the players physically and mentally; Martin O’Neill will need all his experience and his entire squad to keep momentum rolling.
Winning this league would be a huge achievement, one of the biggest this century and an ominous sign to others.

B to B !
Less of that positivity on here – it’ll never work.
The board appear to be making small and long overdue steps toward fan communication and support. I hope they build on it.

It is indeed significant that Martin said the recruitment didn’t convince him and then immediately followed this up with a comment about our ambition.
If he had of spoke with a north Antrim accent and not that soft Derry accent, you’d be forgiven for thinking it was a Brendan impersonation.
But we were told our policy was spot on and the failings were all down to one man’s desire for self preservation…Did Martin not get the memo ?

God bless the Auld Alliance, get it right up the Free Staters!
*Take it down from the mast, Irish traitors, its the flag we Republicans claim, it can never belong to Free Staters, you have brought on it nothing but shame.

Just watched for the first time Brian Wilson’s wee chat with Celtic TV. Not bad. If the follow up happens as he suggests? We might be on to something.
*Fully concur with you here, don’t forget that Brian was a politician for 18 years and served as a minister of state for 6, he is also the author of the Celtic Centenary book. Currently as well as being out interim Chairman, he is also chairman of Harris Tweed Hebrides and a visiting professor at the University of Strathclyde.
As far as I’m concerned he has all the attributes to be a NED most importantly in our “war” against the ruling football authority his political background could serve us well.
However a site on FB that was recently lambasted on here has the audacity to have a go against him following his effort to hand out an olive branch to the radical side of our support, wonder why.
in for a read back,
Good to know.

All the commandments in the Decalogue Dialogue are of equal importance but I found Commandments 7 and 10 particularly carry more significance in this dispute.
A post of great substance that brings both clarity and much needed objectivity, as, in the end, this dispute will only be resolved by meaningful dialogue.
=============
Absolutely. A full extension of the Third Commandment
Thanks for the reminder.
I came across the original years ago. Celtic have it but perhaps needs resurrecting.
When I explained what Dialogue required on The Trinity Tims ( Read me, Celtic Blog and Video Celtis) podcast you would think I spoke in Latin.
An Dún @ 11:55 am,
Totally agree – stating the exact same points and squad requirements.
Also noticed how many times Martin reiterated that Celtic were a European club – obviously didn’t get the memo from Ross…

You might be interested in this article originally published on Celtic Underground after the Shame Game that references Brian Wilson and Truth and Reconciliation, but not surprised he was lambasted by those who are blind to the truth that makes them a profit.

Brian Wilson standing up for Celtic? We cannot have that narrative can we?
