McCOIST BLASTS SFA OVER BROWN U-TURN

ALLY McCOIST branded the SFA’s decision to allow Scott Brown to play against Sevco Rangers as “crazy”.
The Celtic skipper had his red card in the 2-2 draw against Ross County downgraded to a yellow after the Hoops appealed the decision last week.
Former Sevco Rangers manager McCoist, who saw his old team trounced 5-1 by the Brown-inspired champions in yesterday’s High Noon shoot-out, said: “I wasn’t surprised by yet another crazy decision by the people that are running our game.

“It was a red card. There’s absolutely no doubt in my mind that it was a red card and for them to rescind it and make it a yellow.
“It leaves people who know the game scratching their heads.
“Supporters, ex-players and players are now scratching their heads on why that is now a yellow card when initially it was a red card.

“As I say, it’s madness, but then nothing surprises me at the moment.”

At the hearing during the week the SFA defended the decision taken by referee Don Robertson in Dingwall while Celtic challenged the decision. The panel found in Celtic’s favour and reduced the red to a yellow.
McCoist has yet to demand to know the names of the panel members.
And Scott Brown, who is now on his holidays for two weeks, was absolutely MAGNIFICENT yesterday.
