While Neil Lennon’s mind will be more engaged with preparations for next season than SPL results between now and then he will be a bit alarmed at how porous his midfield has been recently. Celtic have been leaking goals at the back in an alarming manner but the cover from midfield has contributed most to the problem.
Injuries have been disruptive but it’s surprising that the team shape has not been maintained, irrespective of who is playing.

Man, Nan, as long as the big is correct, as I am bbbbbbbbbbbig!
Dont see the point of bolstering our midfield when our strikers have had lowest goals scored of any Celtic strikeforce in 60 years
Steinreignedsupreme,
Ross County will definitely be voting against the proposals. St Mirren therefore hold the key as they are apparently undecided.
Now we know exactly why Charles Green was at the game on Sunday …
ST
Wouldn’t a stronger midfield create more opportunities for our strikers?
Sydney Tim, lower even than 1979 , when top scorer was hoopslegend Tom McAdam with 7?
Jingsae me.
Sydneytim
Is that a fault of the forwards or a lack of service. It may be a mixture of both but I feel the midfield is too slow to get a ball accurately to the forwards before the opposition organise their defence..
MWD
Just about to make a wee donation anyway-I’ll add a fiver to it for BHOYSINSPIRIT since I canny be there
CRC will confirm it. Hopefully….
I have seen some pants midfields in the past but never have i seen Celtic without a recognised front 2
Strikers win games
Yorkbhoy agree also no petrov,s or dare i say it burley type of player
commons is the only one who comes close

Greengo knows he won’t be able to justify hiking SB prices if the prposals go through for next season…….and THAT’S his only reason…..silly bhuns
Fantastic bhun post on rm …..”they reap what they sow” …….yes, a bhun actually said that….
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Does anyone else think that the £500k bill for Legal expenses is part of the 5 way agreement? i.e. Charles agreed to pay this back in August?
What position would we have been in had the other clubs allowed Rangers straight back in to the SPL? Would Rangers then automatically have been stripped of titles and what would then have happend with the LNS commissioned piece?
Would the SFA have stuck with the transfer ban? If they did we can guarantee Rangers would be in relegation position A1 in the SPL. Would Media House Radio then be claiming that Rangers should be saved from relegation?
Rangers created this whole situation for Scottish Football. THE ONLY way to deal with it was for Rangers to start again. Thing is, they have not been punished and are being assisted at every opportunity by Rangers supporters in key positions in Scottish Football and society.
BTW has anyone asked Graeme Souness why he recieved an EBT yet?
This was when he was Blackburn manager right? Around the time he made the ‘men against boys’, proclamation.

CL is seating only. Standing areas is for Bundesliga matches. Temporary seating is bolted onto terrace when required, safety barriers are removed.

“Now we know exactly why Charles Green was at the game on Sunday …”
Aye. But now that Gilmour has met Challs – I reckon St Mirren will vote in favour of 12 12 18.
Gordon_J
I know Adams spoke out against the 12-12-18 plan but has his chairman?
I go along with Steinreignedsupreme on this, insofar that the 12-12-18 will get approved by the SPL clubs.
Even if it doesn’t SevCo are still gubbed. Another season in the lower leagues will see the roof cave in.

Do i have to wear a trenchcoat with a yellow carnation and then whisper “Red fox to Red leader”? :)

That’s why I stated yesterday that this vote will ‘reveal ………. We will know the way forward in a couple of weeks ……….be very careful, SPL, SFL Clubs…….you allow greengo to manipulate you at your peril….
TMWTL
Seems you just have to look for a group of middle-class types.
Ten Men Won The League,
As I understand it the Ross Country chairman (McGregor?) has said they will definitely vote against.
St Mirren are undecided – but if they vote against too then it is defeated.

You have to carry a copy of the Celtic View under your arm.
You will be approached by someone with a blow-up Jinky, who will ask: “Have you ever been to Milan?”
And you will reply with: “No. But Lisbon is very nice in May.”
TinkerTaylorSoldier – all owed money by the Huns CSC
BT
I think his dad is the head of youth development/scout.
A proper scout mind. Not the Neil Murray version ;)
Steinreignedsupreme
“No. But Lisbon is nice in May”
Brilliant. Liked that :)
I’m in the camp of those who feel the midfield are not producing the opportunities for our forwards to score the goals. Bring back Marc Crosas. I feel for the SPL, we desparately need Scott Brown to fight fire with fire.

Hooper defo off boil since january..
Anyone know many he has scores since then ?
Stokes had awful season with injuries.
Sammy will never score enough.. Love the big man but he isnt consistent enough in league.
Watt will score.. He should be playing alot more.
Lassad an miku havent worked. They should go. Along with bangura
Tailor even…
I don’t think Roy McGregor of Ross County has come out and said he is voting No. The Daily Ranger, in their role as Newco cheerleader, have said he will vote No but what he actually says was that he was in favour of 80% of the proposal but the Ross County supporters were against the 12-12-18. His concern, rightly so, was selling season tickets for what he was saying was a 22 game league (he seems not to count the post split games for some reason)
http://www.scotsman.com/the-scotsman/sport/football/macgregor-fears-reconstruction-could-end-season-tickets-1-2830872
Kayal33,
McGregor said today (Daily Mail) that he wants redistribution of cash, one governing body and play offs in place for next season but reconstruction given more time for discussion.
If other clubs don’t agree to this then they will “probably” vote against.

he is indeed director of football

no idea mate..
Proud bhoy we need to keep cost low to compete but we spend salaries on non scoring strikers!!!!!
indeed taxi for most of them
ST
I agree but a lack of creativity from midfield must be factored into this.

There’ll be a CQN banner or meet up at GOMA prior to the demo.
If it helps contact me on Twitter and I’ll DM you my mobile number.
Bawsman@ 09.15 hrs.
Totally agree with all your sentiments.
“Rangers” WERE found guilty of the charges levied against them and were fined £250.000 which you rightly state will never be paid.
This whole situation will not just go away as many would like, however i am absolutely exasperated and tired by the terms Oldco and Newco.
Oldco is quoted when any blame or costs are involved and Newco for history etc.
The fact that Campbell Ogavie remains unscathed in his position tells us all we need to know about the current regime. How they have never fully been taken to task about redefining the word liquidation is quite unbelievable, or maybe not.
