It took a late goal from Anthony Stokes to secure Celtic’s win at Tannadice in August. That led to a five match unbeaten run for Dundee United, which ended two weeks ago at Pittodrie before Inverness knocked 10-man United out of the League Cup on Tuesday with a 120th minute goal.
Jackie McNamara has stabilised his team and they are likely to finish in the top three this season, but the defeat on Tuesday, which led to a storm of controversy over the behaviour of Nadir Ciftci, will be a major challenge ahead of United’s trip to Celtic Park. The champions should win comfortably.
There was little glibness evident in The Herald’s sombre interview with Dave King, published this morning. Despite apparently getting along famously with antagonists on either of Rangers International shareholding, he was unable to reach a deal, perhaps because he didn’t speak to the Organ Grinder behind the club playing in Rangers colours.
Indeed, neither King, nor anyone else trying to oust, or do a deal with, the current board, knows the ultimate beneficiary behind Blue Pitch Holdings et al. Is it you? It’s not me, but I suppose that’s what everyone is saying right now.
That question, is the only show in town.
King wrapped up his comments to The Herald by saying “Over the last two years we have all witnessed the destructive value when individuals, who should be putting the club first, advance personal agendas through the media in an attempt to influence the most important stakeholder in Rangers Football Club – the fans”.
Self-awareness is a rare thing.
Mr King is 100% correct on the destructive influence those who have divided his new favourite club have had. Without the modestly self-named Blue Knights causing ultimately unproductive havoc, Charles Green’s consortium would surely not have over-paid and under-charged, leading to the situation King believes could lead to administration. The question now for those on the outside is, do they have the votes, or are they just peeing on the Broxy Bear Burgers?

Let’s hope so.
P67 – ‘the modestly self-named Blue Knights’
LOL.
Word is McColl and King will get together and title themselves ‘The Orange Avengers’.
The clash between rival groups will be sponsored by Marvel Comics.

I’m just not sure who owns what and that is the key to the enigma machine.
Although the answers will have a direct affect on them, my concern is protecting us and other clubs from the consequential toxicity because I see no sign of the SFA doing it.

All well thanks!
I have no appointments tomorrow for the first time in months! Good and bad that.
So, I’ll have a long lie tomorrow until 6;00am. Do an ironing, get the shopping done, do the housework, tidy up the garden, make the tea, ferry them all about wherever they want then pick them up…………..
I think I might invent a couple of appointments…………………

Maybe he should sens a copy to the SFA and whoever is the current Nomad.
Just so that they cannot pretend ignorance of same.
It is crucial that the list of MSP’s below are contacted by people ahead of Tuesday’s meeting of the Justice Committee.
FAC@FACKilltheBill6m
Is your MSP Alison McInnes, Colin Keir, John Finnie, Margaret Mitchel, Roderick Campbell or Sandra White?

I’m being ordered here on Twitter to approve ‘a glib and shameless liar’ with 41 guilty counts in a High Court. What a weird world. #rangers

CQN Annual is on the presses now. We will post out orders probably beginning of week after next. Everyone on my “list” gets a mention.

@ChrisGraham76 Doubting a man convicted on 41 counts of law-breaking in a high court? Yes, I can see now, it is a pish position to adopt.
These stupid huns totally deserve all the conmen they get.
BMCUWP,
Youd be surprised, I’m surprised, that was a week of piss taking that stuck, but of course you are correct, I have no history preceding this week

Phils having fun torturing the Scottish msm on twitter 1st :))
CANAMALAR
You have to laugh,mate.
No point in worrying about it. One thing about the blog-it ain’t anodyne!
I am having trouble with ordering the CQN annual through the link(s) on the graphic above, on my Mac.
It just seems to open the CQN thread on a new tab. Anyone else having trouble on a Mac?
Interesting news about the China trip although maybe we should be worried that John Park has gone too.
Hearing on the gravepine that Celtic have invited several(~20) influential business leaders(and Celtic fans) from around the world to Celtic Park for a brainstorming session on the way forward and how to take the club to the next level – and will indeed foot the bill to fly people in from some far flung places.
Interesting times. Anyone get an invite?!

Not surprised broonie’s appeal was turned down tbh. A shame that after such a good start to the season a moment of idiocy may be his last contribution in this season’s CL – hopefully not obviously.
CANAMALAR
Check yer junk for a mail from me,the one I alluded to earlier.
I’m going through the alphabet sending it.
ZBYSZEK should receive it in 2048.
Traditionalist88,
I’ve have had to turn mine down, got an appointment to see the dentist that day, bugger eh, thats the AGM and the brain drizzle session I’ve missed, nightmare I tells ya
SFTB
getting same ‘problem’ on iphone. Any ideas?
BMCUWP,
Remember the story, first time I heard the show :o)
Hail Hail
AN DUN
Hands up,from 111 I was screaming for Brown to pull him down, take one for the team.
The extra hits he gave him, well, that’s what done him in the cold clear light of day.
In the floodlit heat of the moment, though, the ref was initially happy wi a yellow.
The three game ban is excessive but we’re never going to get anything, not since the referee ‘strike’.
Reading the anguish of Magpies fanzine over FF being touted for Engurland,Barca,Man.City et al brings a smile to my face when I think of the derogatory claptrap about Celtic, our League etc.Pardew and co must be sick as parrots! FF has won more silverware in his Celtic career than N.U.have in nearly 60 years,I am sure the last trophy they won was whwen a young Ronnie Simpson kept goal in the FA Cup Final in 1950`s.. talk about irony!
SHUGGIEBHOY
I think they won the Fairs Cup in 69 after having their ground and city trashed by rampaging hunnery.
Ironically,it was a Tim who received the trophy as captain,IIRC
Shuggiebhoy67,
I like the cut of your gib :o)
Anyway, enough of the gay camaraderie its time for t’pub :o)
Ernie, agreed.
Its excessive.
I thought yoofa would at least do a ‘john Terry’ and suspend one of the games.
On the brightside Celtic have never won a group stage game that broony has played in. :)
Optimistic csc
Bah.
Edit.
This campaign.
GEORDIE MUNRO.
Win our next yow,for which he is banned, and he can come back for the last 16.
He’s never won one of them either!
