CELTIC’S crucial clash with Borussia Monchengladbach has been sold out more than a week before the Champions League confrontation.
Brendan Rodgers’ side take on the Bundesliga outfit a week tomorrow in the first of their vital double-header against the Germans, who have lost their previous ties against Manchester City (4-0) and Barcelona (2-1).celtic3-3mancity-20160928-0633
And the Hoops have announced it’s a sell-out in the home sections – with the match heading for a 60,000 capacity crowd.

The champions are determined to build on their display against Pep Guardiola’s City where they were ahead three times before being forced to settle for a dramatic 3-3 draw.

A win over Monchengladbach would give Rodgers’ men four points and boost their chances of ensuring European football beyond Christmas. They face a trip to Germany for the return on Tuesday, November 1.

Meanwhile former Celtic skipper, Andy Lynch will publish his autobiography on 18 October on CQN Books. It’s called Hoops, Stars and Stripes and he has worked on the book with respected Celtic author Paul Dykes.
Paul has kindly given us 100 signed copies of The Quality Street Gang to give away to the first 100 CQN’ers to order Andy’s new book, which is a fascinating read. You’ll have to be quick though – order at www.cqnbookstore.com and you will receive two great books for just £14.99 plus p&p.
