CELTIC defender Adam Montgomery has sealed his short-term loan move to Motherwell, as CQN reported yesterday.
And the 21-year-old left-back, who already has experience of three previous temporary switches at Aberdeen, St Johnstone and Fleetwood Town, is eager to get back into the thick of the action.
Montgomery, who made only six appearances for the English League One side, told the club website: “I’m chuffed to be here.
“I’m excited to get going and show the fans what I can do.
“It’s been really good meeting all the boys and I feel it’s a great environment to be playing football.”

Montgomery is poised to make his league debut for his new team against former side St Johnstone in Perth a week on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Hoops gaffer Brendan Rodgers is scouring the market to strengthen the No.3 position with Greg Taylor an ever-present this season.
Alexandro Bernabei, recruited at a fee of £3.75million from Argentinian top-flight outfit Lanus in the summer of 2022, will be on his way as soon as a suitable offer is made.
The champions have been linked with Estoril’s Tiago Araujo, who is “calm” about the situation, according to local sports media A Bola.
The Portuguese club are demanding £4million for their player, but reports insist there has been “no progress” since the move was originally mooted in November.
The 22-year-old versatile back-four operator joined his current side for free after being released by Benfica, but it is understood the Lisbon giants have a 50 percent sell-on clause in the contract of any future fee involving Araujo.
