Motherwell inflame and fail to learn lessons

369

Two games into a three game run against Motherwell I would expect to have a bit of claret and amber fatigue. But frankly, I can’t wait to get stuck into them tomorrow. I know we took the cup on Sunday, and rescued our Invincibility-ness on Wednesday, but their manager’s inappropriate reaction after the final, then the club’s statement, where they assert referee decisions affected both games, whereas “should any evidence exist” that missiles were thrown at Celtic players, they will act.

So evidence might not exist? Maybe Leigh Griffiths brought that bottle onto the field himself and the coins dropped from Mikael Lustig’s waste-band.

Very clever, Motherwell. What actually happened was your manager inflamed your fans ahead of Wednesday, then your stewards failed to even look at the crowd while missiles were raining on Celtic players. Then your subsequent statement assured everyone that you had no evidence of wrongdoing.

You condoned the actions of your players, who learned nothing after Sunday and repeated the same mistakes on Wednesday. You fail to condemn your fans after Wednesday, who will learn only that there are no consequences for their actions.

Can we talk about Celtic for a moment?

If Celtic is your thing, and you will be at tomorrow’s game, you can contribute to the Foundation Bucket Collection. The Foundation feeds the hungry, shelters the homeless and comforts those in deprivation, all in your name.

It is a magnificent gift to us as Celtic supporters. Nowhere else in the football world does an organisation of such scope and action exist.

Bring some cash and join the Movement.

  1. Bobby the only praise for the daily rectum is for their splendid contribution to liquidation day, 1 and 2 .

  2. i have a suggestion since liquidation does not mean death might involve some tax scheme so as to pay better wages for better players and if caught just liquidate and start again as a new club with all history intact after all

thats what they have done in scotland, they have set a precedence

I also predict the huns will beat Aberdeen based on the cyclical requirement that they be seen again as word beaters and potential European Cup winners.

Keeps them living in hope…..and as a cashcow carcass for the rest of the teams in the league. ( To feed off.)

The treatment that Celtic, as a club, it’s players and it’s support, receive from the football and civic authorities has reached a dangerous level.

If, as expected, we retain our dominance in the game, I can only see the situation deteriorated further.

Away games are now a source of danger, from attacks on fans and from missiles thrown at players.

Celtic and our support are always reported as being the cause rather than the victims behind the MSM headlines.

Neither the football authorities nor civic authorities treat us with anything approaching fairness.

Where am I going with this?

I believe that we are very close to, if not already at the point, where our ability to fully operate as a football club, is being seriously hampered by the environment in which we operate.

The rules of the game, on the park and the laws of policing off the park are skewed to our detriment.

There will never be an appetite in Scotland to change, therefore relocation is the only other option for a fair game.

It was always bad for us, but never as bad as it is now, as the prize is much higher than in bygone days(of yore).

  11. I know there is an ongoing joke about the ‘slump’ but apart from St. Johnstone game the goals have dried up. in the other 6 games since the great display against the Sheep we have scored 7 goals, including 2 Penalties & a free kick. That leaves 4 from play in 6 games shared between, The Griff, CalMac, Moussa & Wee James.

I think the relentless schedule , the pressure of European games, & the pressure to keep invincible run going is starting to tell.

The Invincible run is also firing up our opponents as each side we play want to be the guys to break it.

We have already dropped as many points in 14 games this year as we did in 38 games last year.

I think that is statistic that has been glossed over as we concentrate on the unbeaten tag,

Draws are now acceptable where they were disasters last year.

Im sure you are older than me. I honestly think that there has never been a more biased ref than yon Davidson in the 1970 cup final. The huns had their signing policy which went mostly uncriticised by the media and the BBC sports dept was headed by Blue Peter Thompson.so I think things are pretty much the same.

The intensity of the hate is worse because the huns are in such a mess. Magic so it is.

Far too many times our players have been subjected to missiles, some very dangerous, and racial, sectarian abuse being hurled at them.If you add in physical attacks,re,Broony at Hundome,it is getting ridiculous we are not calling this behaviour out.The authorities are doing nothing ,we know this because the attack, and missiles at Hundome were totally ignored. The Huns were throwing paper balls at the Progres game and UEFA fined them,7 grand.Paper balls. If we let it slip by ignoring it,we could have one of our players receive serious injury.

We have witnessed the “Banned songs”being re instated by the Huns.with not a mention. This is what doing nothing gets you.I dont want to act like Huns, issuing statements every second or third day,but this is a serious matter.

Anyway here’s the good news, our soccer club will be hosting

the Celtic Academy here in Cardiniashire and our bhoys are

jumping with joy, it’s a massive boost to the area and great

credit must be given to the local council for the faith they

placed in the club by building this wonderful sporting ground

for the hundreds of new immigrants and people who have been

forced out of their own country and where better should their

kids focus their energies than by being taught the true art of

soccer than by the ethos of the Celtic.

As usual the EPL fud had to have his say ” think you would have

got more people through the doors if it was an EPL club ”

” Oh you mean just like you support all your EPL supporter clubs

in Melbourne, wait a second, oh thats right you don’t have any do

you? do you know how many Celtic have?

Honestly it doesn’t matter how many times you set them up they

keep jumping in with both feet.
