That must have been some kick in the stones for der hun, magic so it is
Celtic Mac on
Credit to Nat Philips bringing the ball forward, playing it across to Greg Taylor who also kept his calm (not long after a brutal tackle which should have seen red) and putting it across the goal, a play that Matt read to a T.
Bit o footballing nous on show at the right time. Well done the Bhoys for digging out the result
Coneybhoy on
That was such a cool finish. The overload of players in the box done for Well.

A win like that really nips the lurkers eh?
What a never-say-die finish from Matt.
MoTM was Bainy. Which is good for him but a reflection on how impotent we were.
Big Nat brings a presence we need for Europe.
Oh plays like the asian Andy Peyton.

Markiebhoy, you can always switch your support to Spurs. It’s Celtic for me.

Enjoyed that
I did feel that this team had a bit more strength than we’d earlier shown.
Very pleased about the nature of the win, even if it wasn’t good for the ticker

OMG, that was a cracking win.

bliddy lost the ctv live didgy stream at 90+4,
we were 1 up with a minute to go.
couldnt get back on and didnt want to jinx it so went over to shortie,
with 30 seconds to go …………… they are talking about matt snatchin a winner, wtf,
celtic eh, that is why we are champions.

These are the type of wins that at the end of the season that win titles – no fluency, no spark for 87 minutes, a kick in the teeth on 95, won on 97- we still never stop HH

90+8. dearie me.

are you serious, 24 shots, 70% possession, motherwell defending for a point,
we won, enjoy it.

Kyogo didn’t look happy coming off but once the dust has settled, he’ll realise it’s a squad game. The subs did well.
Saint Stivs on
shortie reporting the early arrivers at ibrox cheering the motherwell goal, only to now be deflated by a late celtic win.
hahahah, roon yeese.

didn’t know if it was New York or new year with all those updates at the end

Can’t wait for beers and food later in Stoneybatter, Dublin. Pub called Glimmer Man
I now have Mirror Man by Human League in my head
Have to switch dodgy stick to Ryder Cup for my wife. She was the one that asked me to cancel Sky and now she,s complaining😃

I’m not sure if you saw the game but number of shots doesn’t tell the story. Very few of them were particularly troubling. He’s right, it wasn’t a fluent performance but I certainly enjoyed 90+8 😁😁
mncelt on
Brilliant result. M’well were hard to break down but thee Bhoys found a way – twice. Good subs by BR – saw him talking to Matt before he scored telling him to remember what they practiced at training :) Arrive late into box and knock it in the top corner.
Not our best performance today but we played well enough. Kyogo didn’t get a sniff all day and in the end the goals came from wide positions. Real sickener for St Mirren. Calmac getting back to his best, and Liam again put in a shift.

GOAL Motherwell 1-2 Celtic
Matt O’Riley
Double Wow!
Greg Taylor, who could hardly walk a few moments ago, floats a cross to the back post and in comes Matt O’Riley to steer in a close-range volley.
======================
Greg, floating crosses while recently crippled, regular Lazarus …………… :)
Tellys gettin papped oot windaes in govan!
Nurse, he’s oot the bed again. 🤪
Incredible mental strength from that team and incredible composure from Matt.
Great three points
‘Mon the Dons.
Fantastic.
We never stop, eh?
Love wee Jamsie, but I’m always frustrated by him for not going to the bi line
Great stuff and suprb goal by Palma
