    There are certain ‘dig-out’ games throughout any season when you win the title – today was the first – there will be others.

     

     

    My considered criticism is that we played the game at a tempo dictated by Motherwell and although having 70% possession, still allowed them some decent chances.

     

     

    However, we never gave up – that is a massive plus.Performances will get more enjoyable as injuries clear up, new players bed-in, and we find a bit of good form.

     

     

    Things can only get better and a positive against Lazio would help.
