It would be magnificent if they went super staunch with Davis and Rae.

Here’s hoping, but they can’t be that stupid.

  2. “Rangers are confident the new managemeentt team will have the proper UEFA badges to lead the team in Europe this week”

    Aw,ur they,Aye.

    I smell shite.

  3. Just listening to a live sevco podcast. The 3 of them want a ‘good rangers man’ who know,s what rangers is all about. They never learn. They are truly deluded and gullible.

  4. Gutted they will likely get energy from a league cup win and post Xmas Europe.

We will most likely struggle to get the latter and won’t get the former.

Really hoping now that Cypriots and St Mirren can get results to prick any bounce.

  5. To be fair beale destroyed celtic during the pre-season cup. He used his great tactical mind and eye for a player to push so far ahead I was worried we would never catch them such was their wonderful recruitment of cheap superstars. celtic obviously struggled to keep up signing only cheap projects and hiring a failure of a manager in rodgers after that lucky ange guy left the building.

To sevco’s credit having backed the superb beale for a full 7 domestic league games they reached the point they had to sack him because sevco should apparently have got into the champions league and beat all before them. Anything else is a failure. Problem is it is also unrealistic but why bother with facts, its hardly thier supporters strong point.

We now get the pleasure of being told that the next with do x, y and z, is is wonderful manager and put them back where they belong and put us back in our place. Doing the sacking and hoping for a bounce with real rangers men etc etc

  6. All good things come to an end. I was hoping they would have had to keep him for the season at least. Can they afford to sack him? I didn’t think they could. I had read that he had 3 or 4 years left on his contract; I presume that’s a fair amount of money.

  7. The Rangers Board said:

“We have endeavoured to appoint the staunchestest management team we could find in the Auchenhpwie car park”

    WATP!

  8. The Blogger Formerly Known As GM on

That’s one silver lining- it will cost them to pay off Micky Mouth after he’s blown the budget on a load of dross(ers) 😂😂😂

  9. I would rather they appoint the big name like Frank Lampard are opposed to the unfancied experienced Neil Warnock ,

Warnock knows how to build a team with ordinary players .

Ironically Robinson at St Mirren would do his chances no harm with a win against them on Sunday.

  10. The Huns are our nearest challengers … sport is all about enjoying your nearest competitors flucking up as BRRB posts repeatedly… let the good times roll

The Huns still think Gerrard was a success 1 trophy out of nine

I love they now appreciate….. being pish

Delighted Brendan is back to collect the trophies that he, Neil & Ange have got us used too 🍀🍀

  11. Kevin Thompson trying to bring Celtic into them sacking managers, for his sake they aren’t conditioned to winning they’re defined by hating Celtic that is their DNA not winning ,Warnock is a thug and would get his team to kick the stars out of the sky, talentless beyond that.

  12. *SENTINEL CELTS PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2023-24*

    *RESULTS FROM GAME #9 – MOTHERWELL 1 CELTIC 2 (PALMA, O’RILEY)*

Good evening, friends and apologies for interrupting any discussion on tonight’s breaking news, that Triggers Broom FC are looking for their 7th permanent manager in their 11 year history…..

So, back to yesterday and prior to kick off I eagerly anticipated a tight challenging game at the home of one of Scotland’s form teams. But I was soon disappointed with Motherwell’s real lack of ambition, playing very cagey, sitting in and hoping to catch us on the break. In turn this led to a pretty uninspiring first half going into the break goalless. And so it continued for a large part of the second half, albeit Motherwell were at least a little bit more positive in their approach. It was a game that had ‘one goal wins it’ written all over it and when Luis Palma got his first goal for The Hoops late in the game that’s the way it looked. Deep into stoppage time and a couple of disasters struck – firstly Motherwell equalised and then, 15 seconds later, my screen froze, never to return until after the final whistle! So the euphoria of our 97th minute winner was a bit subdued given that the news was provided via Twitter but, hey ho, a fantastic win nonetheless. And of course, the afternoon just got better (EK won) and better (Aberdeen won)!

We have now played 9 games, winning 6, drawing 1 and losing 2 with 16 goals scored and 7 conceded.

In 3rd place with 150 votes is Calum McGregor and the runner up on 175 votes is Liam Scales. But the clear winner of September’s Player Of The Month with 259 votes is Matt O’Riley.

We now move on to Matchday 2 in the Champions League, a home tie on Wednesday evening against Lazio. Kick off 8pm.

    Hail Hail!

  13. Are the huns going for a world record of suspect managers ?

The only manager that could actually manage, they binned.

There is something we are missing here..

Can’t quite put my finger on it.

Actual quite well off people chucking money down the sevco well.

    They are for the watching.

  14. Oh well the cockney rebel has left the building arrogant see you next thursday all he did was put us down and throw his players under the bus

  15. Staunch kinda only works with players who identify with it.

Winning the great January window will be the next big thing but they have a huge tail of a wage bill and legacy spend.

My only fear is the momentum they get from a league cup win and a euro run post Xmas.

  16. Burnley78 10.45pm

They would need better players for that to happen

Celtic are in a good place .. Brendan is a top manager who I am delighted we have (still gutted he left but we all make mistakes, although maybe just an employment decision for a football manager :-) I am glad we have him back

Good times ahead and we have endured many many good times recently

    Hail Hail
