another 3 points , some superb link up lay and closing down of opposition early , Johansen has found his position in the free role in midfield his shutting down and passing were superb today, my MOM. Kris going to struggle to get a start if he keeps this up.

Celtic swept aside Motherwell in the first 25 minutes, but missed chances throughout the 92 ,and made the scoreline bizarre and between 7-0 and 1-1.
Stokes stayed calm with his chance, and in the end it was just enough to take the points very deservedly back down the motorway to Parkhead. Forrest and Guidetti could/should have bagged doubles and trebles, and both Calum Murray and the linesmen saw Guidetti offside when he was on, and both missed blatant Motherwell handballs, in the box.
Undettered against a Motherwell with no real goal threat Celtic continued to pick holes, in an admittedly poor defence. Only non Celtic players for the second week in a row are unlucky to see red, and the procession towards the Celtic end continued.
‘The media’ were still hopeful at 1-0 and Celtic through Guidetti Forrest and Izzy should have killed the game, time after time. RD’s pressing game was embarrassing one sided but faltered after Forrest was removed after his fire smouldered through tiredness. Substitutes Aleksandar Tonev and Kris Commons couldn’t pick up the pace of the game, where Guidetti and Forrest left off.
Celtic’s driving midfield won this game where Bitton Johannsen and Brown were superb.
The back four did their job well, and Celtic escaped a ‘Willie Collumesque like penalty award’ near the end where the equally culpable Callum Mibbery ruled simulatation for once in our favour.
Good wee day for Ronny Deila and Timdom in the relentless press towards four in a row.

I have now fully recovered from yesterday as I head to bed as I’m nightshift. What a lovely bunch of Celtic supporters I was with yesterday, I had a couple of rolls this morning which came up quicker than they went down, I told the blonde one I won’t be going back to that shop again, awe she fell for it….naive!
A great result today and one of those games where it could have been a banana skin, three points a clean sheet and some nice football, what’s not to like…

In the first half Efe was faultless – 4 clearances and 22 passes, all to a team mate. His form dipped in the 2nd half as he made 1 misplaced pass out of the 18 he attempted. he cleard his lines a furtehr 5 times.
Overall pass completion rate – 97%!!
