Morning all.
Norris M, from last night.
Your son in laws team is Cumbernauld Colts.
They play in the Lowland League, they were at Stirling Uni today.
A crazy game 2 down at half time, they went 4.2 up but Stirling scored two late goals for a 4.4 draw.
They play at Broadwood,, as do Clyde.
The stadium is now owned by North Lanarkshire Council, with the Colts having priority over Clyde.
Cumbernauld United is the local junior team , they are in the junior equivalent of the championship and play at Guys Meadow in Cumbernauld Village.
As is the usual, their wage bill will be higher than Clyde and the Colts.
Clyde have tried a few times to sign some of the junior boys but can’t match the wages.
It kinda sums Scottish Football up, some of the salaries in the juniors are crazy.
Darvel, another junior championship team, signed the East Fire captain this year, as well as a few others from the lower leagues.
It’s all about the money.

A good performance and win yesterday. I think we could have got another couple if our finishing was just a wee bit more precise in front of goal, but I am not complaining at 5.
I also thought Bolingolli done better than his previous games, the test again will be Europe on Tuesday.
Bring on the Clujy.

With respect to Lustig, its clear he was past his best these past couple of years, he wasn’t really getting forward and was a worry at the back. Now if you put someone in there who can get forward, like Elhamed or Ajer or another, then what his that going to to do for James Forrest who has already been outstanding? You would think it would open up more space for him and take the pressure off him.
Same with Eddy, his first real season as a pro last year, leading the line almost single handedly. Having Griff back will take the pressure off and Bayo may or may not offer something as time goes on. Lenny also talking about adding another forward. This year we will see the best of Eddy I’m sure.
Now I’m of the opinion, keep McGregor and Christie fit and were will take some stopping. Throw in Eddy at his best, Jamesy at his best and Ntcham engaged and its goodnight Vienna for Scottish football.

John McGinn becoming a £30m plus dominant central midfielder – glad Peter Lawwell didn’t think he was worth paying the money Hibs wanted for him to get him signed early last summer before Villa got interested.
He was the one player who competed and dominated Scott Brown. April 18 game at Easter road when we could have won the league he ran the show. Dragging your feet and cutting your nose off to spite your face spring to mind. Jars me in the same way not signing Andy Robertson from Dundee United jars me.
There’s an arrogance at the club about player values. The club need to deal with the reality that player values are surging and take advantage of it.

Good morning all, what’s not to like? I have no fear of not celebrating nine in a row for the second time. We are still strengthening and will spend again in the coming weeks. Some fantastic young players are chapping at the door and our nearest challengers are plumbeting down a big black financial hole. I honestly can’t see them surviving the season.

Wonderful start to our weekend of Celticness, a completely sold out
treble treble dinner dance last night in Mornington Golf Club adorned
with Celtic legend pictures all round the hall was topped by two young
Irish bhoys hoops and all carrying Aul big ears through the Celtic throng.
Rebel tunes in abundance rounded off a fantastic evening.
Now for the second part, meet up with the crowd today at the re-Publican
