  1. Mo’s 3rd Goal..What superb timing and leap…and he also made sure that he headed the Ball down wards..which is what the Great PELE used to advocate on Training Videos back in the day.

His fantastic down ward header for Brazils 1st Goal V Italy in the 1970 World Cup Final was the BEST Goal of the game imho…and I am NOT forgetting Carlos Albertos goal to make it 4-1.

PELE’s header was pure Text Book.

    Well done Mo.

  2. Absolutely delighted.

    Lots of positives

4-1 at Fir Park always a good result

    Well done Bhoys

  3. Good result good goals and the three points that we needed before yet more International football. Probably at a good time when I think about it. ‘Well caused us some problems but Ely caused them a whole lot more by being at the right end of some good moves. Well done the Celts!

    a ‘loyal’ fan ehh?

    (im kidding obviously…)

  6. good 3 pts. for the club , thought our tempo and closing them down first half was excellent .

2nd half different story our tempo dropped we stood off them and gave them time to look up and make passes, don’t know if players tired , broonie especially started to get sloppy and give the ball away after being my mom in the first half , once again we lose a goal from a set piece why did we go as far back towards our goal to defend a free kick just inside our half ,another example of basic schoolboy stuff defending, that goal gave us the kick up the backside to up our game.

Have to say ref and his sidekicks were very lenient with the rules regarding well’s tackling and 50/50 calls.

Disagree with me all day long mate, we don’t ever need to agree …

I have been “fire fighting” texts since Thursday … from fellow Celtic fans … BUT until Neil stops collecting trophies I will stand by my mhan :-)

Neil must stay … until he stops collecting trophies 🏆

  8. MOISEY17,

I did not think the opposition was poor.Great record from last 5 games going into this game today.

Any chance to denigrate our performance. This is the SPFL,remember. You dispatch them at your leisure,if you are up for it,and play well.Off it,you are under pressure.Give due, where due is due.

  9. lets all do the huddle on

we allow far too many balls into our box so even if we had the best defence in the world, by law of averages some of those are going to end up in the net by hook or crook

we need to reduce that number

  10. Thank you, Celtic. Haven’t seen the game but 4-1 is a lot better than 1-4.

I gather Dallas allowed our players to be hacked again today. I think it is past time that we challenged this. I find it bad enough when we are cheated but, imo, it is a lot worse that our players are kicked off the field and opposing teams know they will get away with it. I wonder if this is why the likes of Eduard seem to be only going through the motions as they know they will get no protection from the MIBs.

  11. My only disappointment today was ( Apart from Well scoring)..was that I wanted to see The Griff getting at least 20 minutes or so ?

Still, you dont always get what you want…as someone once sang.

    HH.

Twice I saw a Scott Brown pass intercepted and immediately won back within two seconds by the man himself

Now, obviously it is better to not give it away in the first place but, if you are going to play a brave passing game, you risk interceptions- the alternative is the safe boring sideways passing that we were moaning about so recently.

Lots of teams measure themselves by how long it takes to recover possession rather than how long they safely keep possession – Scott Brown had a very good game today

Everybody was aware Turnbull had a spell on the sidelines. I’d like to think we were watching him carefully once he’d returned and to be fair, he was putting in some decent performances for Motherwell.

Is it possible he and Soro simply don’t show it in training? If Lennon said some of our players had a bad attitude, what does that say about the ones not getting in?

” Bugger” has just Grassed himself up again…they Huns have no Feckin Brains. They canny help themselves.

Totally agree – Scott Brown as good as anyone today.

Could do his own job without wondering what was

    going on behind him

I will keep posting the facts and my concerns as I see them. Thanks for some of your support guys. Probably watching Celtic, long before some of you were born.

Very sad response from some of you.

  17. Yes a couple of loose passes in the second half…but come on man.Scott Brown was superb today.Absolutely back to his dynamic self.He deserves some flippin credit!!!!

the Starry Plough Loyal CSC for example just doesnt have the right ring about it!

  19. Good result, again we are a good SPL team but if we have any ambitions e.g group stages of cl or el a clean out is still required.IMO.

  23. Sorry, it was four. Three times on the ground and one header. They were not bad passes, they were careless in the extreme. I like Scott Brown as a player/captain, although I do recognise he hasn’t the speed he had a few years ago. Nonetheless, these were careless passes.

  24. TB

Indeed M’well have a great record last 5 against Livi, Ross Co etc – it’s hardly opposition with any pedigree. I’m sure Robinson will be very unhappy with his boys today except for that 20/25 mins when the were clearly on top and creating chances and danger in and around our box- it was too easy. Today I wanted to see a real change mainly in attitude but sorry I don’t think we did. I want to see “eye of the tiger” as that’s the only way we get back to somewhere near our best. Strange as it seems a 2-1 win today but with real evidence of spirit, fight and togetherness would, I’m sure, give us all more confidence. As is clear so far this season having the best players but missing organisation and togetherness is not a great combo

  25. Midfield should be providing some protection for defense but they are not.

There were quite a few scrambles in our box today, Too many for my liking.

Apart from that, there were a lot of positives as well and any day you win 4-1 away from home is a good day.

Much too early to say whether we have turned the corner, still plenty of work to be done,

I’m also bothered by the failure of Turnbull to feature, he did start one game & was very poor , got hooked at half time, I can only assume he is not impressing on the training ground either,

Only thing I can say I feel a whole lot better after today’s game than I felt after Thursday’s and that will do me for the moment,

  26. A good display and result, thank goodness.

Also without bringing politics into proceedings….all poloticians are cheating lying bar stewards, that’s all politicians. SCUM.

  27. MADRA RUA on 8TH NOVEMBER 2020 2:36 PM

You are being harsh in the extreme.

Yes there were a couple of casual/dreadful passes.

But actually his general game today looked as good as i have seen him in ages.

He was dynamic and battled hard all match.

I actually thought those said passes came out of complaicency as he knew he was having a good game.

He was miles better than McGregor and if anyone needs a rest it is Calmac.

I am calling it now…I think Scott Brown is about to come onto his A game this season which is fantastic news for us

  28. It’s all very well, but negative comments after a 4-1 away win

are more than a bit disappointing. What do you want?

    A bit of perspective possibly,

  29. Strange so many think you can only comment on football by being negative.

Pleased with the win. You would have thought we’d lost on shortbread. In fact in consequtive sentences, craigan stated- 4-1 okay but you don’t win the league against motherwell, then followed by saying motherwell really fancied a result today. WTF. The message- don’t be happy Celtic fans. Crazy message.

On the plus side- hatrick hero and we kept going to the end of the match. 😊

Pleased for Joe Biden too ☘
