    Why does Turnbull take free kicks? They are abysmally weak. I have watched girls taking free kicks with far more pace and accuracy. Have him watch clips of Naka and Moravcik and practice for an hour a day. If he still can’t hack it, give the responsibility to someone else.

     

    I recently watched a clip of a 40+ Beckham, still practicing free kicks over cardboard cutouts at his Miami Club, and still finding the postage stamp with unerring accuracy.

     

    Does anyone on here feel any excitement or anticipation when Turnbull lines up to take one?

    A high press against 4 defenders and a keeper who are not technically able to play in the manager’s style is asking for trouble so I doubt 1 goal will be enough.

    SAINT STIVS, thought exactly the same. The new MIB nearly swallowed his whistle getting it into his gub to blow just as CalMac was about to play through on a dangerous break. This guy needs watching, some of his decisions so far have been erratic at best (but all in the same direction). (And I know it’s neither relevant nor scientific, but he LOOKS like a Hun!)

     

     

    Will Gollum give him some extra pointers during the break? Time will tell.
