    The whole team were brilliant at times today. Abada was excellent and Giakoumakis providedva physical presence. What a ball from Abate on the 32 min. For 3 or 4 minutes, Bitton was out of this world 🤔. Really, he was. Forget about looking for the huns score. 5-0 against the minis says it all. We’ll just blow hem all away.

    Still can’t download BBC shows but can still stream everything. Sucks when I can’t download shows like HIGNFY and mirror to big TV.

     

     

    I’d pay for the BBC over here as a streaming service, don’t know why they don’t do that for their original programming. Worth it for the sports, highlights and occasional program like above. Would bring in much needed revenue as the tories continue to dismantle it.

    Special mention for the two fullbacks today.

     

     

    Greg Taylor’s pass to Hatete for the first goal and Ralstons for the third (?) were perfect. Their energy in the second half, when they took up strange positions, obviously under orders, was remarkable

     

     

    Both suffer from not looking like footballers from this time, both are adapting incredibly well to a different way of playing.

     

     

    We’ll have to be very smart or spend decent money to get a more effective left back than todays version of Greg Taylor

    Negative critique of Taylor was over the top let’s not go overboard in our praise either, if Ange looks to replace him fair enough similarly if he thinks he’ll do then equally as fair.

    Covid rarely is a SOLE cause of death. I explained this a few weeks ago – won’t go into the details again because those who are determinedly hard-of-thinking won’t absorb the information anyway.

     

     

    In summary – to use an example – cause of death from a bullet to the brain is likely to be coded as AT LEAST three things:

     

    – haemorrhage

     

    – trauma

     

    – bullet wound

     

     

    In death statistics, if the question is how many people who are shot in the head have the cause of death recorded SOLELY as bullet wound, there would be very few. Nevertheless, bullets to the brain are often serious affairs.

     

     

    The bullet to the brain precipitates other factors which, together, are the cause of death.

     

     

    Covid-19 precipitates other factors in the body – a lot of them part of our own human immune response – that will, taken TOGETHER also be recorded together a causes of death – so, for instance:

     

     

    Contracting Covid-19 ==> causes immune response ==> causes cytokine storm (look it up) ==> causes pneumonia ==> causes death

     

     

    Several factors are coded in death statistics as contributory factors to the cause of death – NOT solely Covid-19.

     

     

    This – like the LNS ‘inquiry’ – is a question framed in such a way as to illicit the desired answer.

     

     

    Give it a rest. It is real – it causes people to die.

    Would you take the Greg Taylor of recent games as our left back from now on? He’s been one of our best players

    If he’s playing very well – which he is – he deserves all the praise he gets. Especially as he’s so often been, rightly or wrongly, the favourite whipping boy.
