Delighted with the three points, we deserved more than the two goals we got.
Only saw one flash of our goal that was ruled out for offside, didn’t look off to me, but I will stand corrected, Collum was his usual self, a cheating little turncoat scrotum.
Absolutely honking, mistake-ridden 2nd half. Team looked out on their feet, but found a way. Well done, especially Maeda. Turnbull also did well and Starfelt excellent. Mooy away from home is just a no for me.
Love JJ but he was dreadful all night, including gifting the goal after we had finally just gained some breathing space. I think we’ll sell him in January.
Another 3 points, same on Saturday and the players not going to Qatar can take a very well earned breather.

VAR – seemed to show Jota’s goal was onside. And I thought Motherwell should have had a red for a very high tackle on Starfelt, Collum only gave a yellow.
We haven’t had a single VAR decision go our way with the game still in the balance.

I’ll take the points – Fir Park is never easy. Looked to me like there was a problem with VAR because it seemed to spring to life at the Motherwell goal (which was good)
Why no such views of Jota’s, as I said earlier, the lines cut on the grass showed him as on.
Oh aye, a blatant red ignored by two cheats as well.

Motherwell player on Starfelt was just below the knee with studs showing – straight red
Motherwell goal (on Hes Goal I think Motherwell TV) shows the Mwell player an inch on side AFTER the ball was played
Point is both VAR decisions should have gone Celtics way – both went against us – paranoid – yep

Still 7 points clear having played 8 away and 6 at home. Sevco have had 8 home and 6 away and seem to struggle away from home. The gap will only grow. Looks like the break is coming at a good time for us, some tired legs out there tonight.
As for VAR, only as good as those monitoring it so still of little use to us.
