Think he’s contracted till 2027 but the club has offered an increased wage and new contract.

When Lennon Miller smacked his free-kick off the bar, he played the rebound and the referee, who was standing 5 yards away, allowed Motherwell to play on for 10 or 15 seconds before the 4th official or var told him it’s a Celtic free-kick.
An astonishing oversight by the referee on one of the basic laws of the game.

Well done Celtic, disgraceful challenge for a red card in injury time, 3 other teams will now benefit from his absence. Hopefully the Idah is ok, his ankle ligaments got a severe twisting.

Celtic win 3-0 and Bonner and his Shortie chums trying to create dramas and controversy out of nothing.
We seen the difference when Callum doesn’t start, the tempo drops and opposition teams settle quicker, the subs all season have made big contributions, again today,Brendan needs to question the penalty

Correct and , of course, if no VAR he might well jsut have let them game go on.
That and the failure to award the penalty for the Maeda incident are a terrible indictment of the standard of our referees.
No wonder none of them are getting picked for high profile internationals.

That Ref today is a snide.Still,I don’t expect anyone to see that tackle, and how bad it was,on first viewing.I didn’t,until the replay. That’s what VAR is for.

According to Kettlewell (great face for halloween BTW!) our first goal was lucky, our second there might possibly , mibbe have been a foul on a M;well player afew phases of play before and the best of all , there was no malice in Gordon’s tackle , he just overstretched himself a bit . I think it’s Hammer house of horror face who’s overstretching things a bit .

Something missing from the Celtic game today maybe it was just Calum McGregor.
Intensity was bound to be reduced after a gruelling continental trip playing against a top class Serie A side, that stayed home to pummel Verona by six. Celtic’s low key Lanarkshire away day, still produced the professionalism to slice Motherwell and their hammer throwing back line thrice to stay top on top of rivals Aberdeen, and the rest.
Brendan Rodger’s used all of his available resource and managed to have quality enough from the bench to rest weary legs, and give CalMac a rare weekend off. Luke McCowan had an excellent full debut and after shakey starts the midfield, overcame the absence of club captain’s personal brand of dynamism that drives Celtic week in, week out. McCowan found the net, with a finely measured strike, then so did Daizen Maeda’s right hand but VAR man defaulted to its natural position of ignoring any incriminating evidence.
Celtic score by tradition into the away end of Fir Park and Alistair Johnston’s tidy finish was merely following a protocol, in a sixteen man Celtic side that makes the league gap look cavernous. Engels, Idah, Palma, CCV and the sublime Nicolas Kuhn on to set up Adam Idah find last season’s favourite wee corner of the Well sticks, to make it three n’easy as Celtic headed for the motorway.
Very tidy result onwards to Parkhead Wednesday
n.b. The upside of VAR (credit where credit is due) caught the dreadful potential ankle breaking challenge on Adam Idah for all to see, the Maeda penalty is another one for the Alan Muir chronicles.

Desperado guy will be on next saying Benny Hill was a racist with a King Billy tattoo.
Good result at a venue we’ve
Found tough in the past.
Given that we had CCV , Taylor and Callum
out the depth of our squad – better than it’s been for a while – was key.
Aberdeen doing well but the goal difference says a lot. They’ve won 6 , I think , of their league games by one goal.
Not sure that tight a margin will get you through a season , especially if injuries and suspensions kick in later in the season.
