Great win coming off the back of a draining midweek game against Atalanta.
First 20 minutes was a bit hard on the nerves but after that we controlled the game and in the end blew them away.
Re Idah’s celebrations, not a big fan of the salute but if he salutes 20 or 30 more times this Season I’ll be a Happy Bhoy,
Roll on to next game also looking forward to Sheep v Huns.
Hope the Sheep maul them after that I’ll be looking for them to start dropping points.

Got four matches in the next two weeks, including a LC semi-final against the Dons next Saturday.
Important then to include as many players as possible, though not all at once obviously. Great to see CCV back we now have an option of using a back three with AJ and wee Frankie at wingback maybe not against Leipzig mind. Greg Taylor can’t be far away either, another bonus at full back. After the four game run there’s another dreaded Euro Nations break, where Tony Ralston will get some game time. Looking good for now.

it’s an impressive achievement to pull off a good win after that draw in mid week. I hope BR feels he has genuine squad rotation options for this part of the season.

Not averse to trying to help Inverness out by the way, but they are now in Administration so not sure what we could do. Maybe that whisky magnate who wants to invest over at Ayebrokes could throw them a few quid
Doubt that would breach UEFA rules….

There’s still a thick pile of them among the refereeing “brethren” in Scotland.
The most brazen of that group, IMHO ….
Dickinson, Aitken, Muir, Beaton.
If only Aitken was Uitken we’d have a decent acronym to play with.

Didn’t get to see the game today as I was watching my daughter play. Just catching up on all the reports now. It is so plain to see that Aberdeen are the new darlings of Scottish fitba right now.with every Newspaper and reporter. They were magnificent and pounded UNited Yesterday, while we lucked out, eeked out, defeated a very poor Motherwell side ( you choose one that our media will go with) I know I know, I should be used to it by now but feck them all. Great win for the Bhoys today.
Onwards and continued upwards.
Hail Hail.

I thought we missed Callum today ,not just for his footballing abilities but also his leadership and organisation on the pitch. There was no one to really take on that side of things .

anyone got the lines pic f the st mirren offside goal
BBC sports scotland put out a really sketchy replay for it
No doubt our midfield struggled early on today, but………. they struggled for 15 minutes only.
After that, it was the usual Celtic dominance , even without Callum.
We won 3:0 at a ground where we are usually involved with tight games and where we have often dropped points.
Another good day.

No lines for the St Mirren offside and they should’ve had a penalty, Aberdeen must be rubbing their hands for Wednesday if they even draw with this mob they have bottled it.

First priority is 3 points on Wednesday
Logically a draw at Pittodrie extends our lead over r2ngers and opens a gap with Aberdeen.

We are in a better place than we could have forecast at the start of the season – in the League Cup semi-final, top of the league, six points clear of Ibrox and four points, not, three won in the Champions League.
We have a squad with back- ups in all departments, no big injury worries, the chance to strengthen in January whilst selling 3/4 out of favour players…….and plenty of money in the bank.
What could go wrong? 💥

The huns are lucky not to be at least 8 points behind us tonight if the Sportscene highlights are anything to go by . They won’t be so lucky on Wednesday against a better team and away from their own midden .
I imagine Brendan might go with the same starting 11 v Dundee . A rest will do Callum good.

Just an added thought on my earlier post with particular regard to our squad. In my opinion we have no so-called fringe players now. Brendan has built a squad in which all are now accepted as a first team players.
We can start without mainstays like Callum, CCV, Taylor, Engels, Kuhn and no one bats an eyelid.
