Conveniently, he forgets to mention his poisoning of the well when events were not to his liking, this was a task at which El Pistolero was particularly adept. Let’s be clear, this entire shitshow where we find the club today lands squarely at his feet, and those who enabled him.
History will record him not as a custodian, but as a self-serving egotist who always chose what was best for Peter and his boy over what was best for Celtic.

As for the squad: we have good players, not all great players, but good players, who work hard and show great spirit, determination and bravery when they are well led. They deserve better than the coach they have. He should not be given a penny to spend.

Actually, as one poster put it last night the one thing WN has done is unite the fans – albeit calling for his head.
There was actually remarkably little infighting among the passion and anger.
There was very little fighting because the board lackeys were all buck naked on the squinty bridge with their soiled y-fronts on their heads howling into the wind.

Chairbhoy Spikies if all you want is the board to make amends next transfer cycle why the gtf chants. Normally that type of diplomacy doesn’t work, doesn’t support Celtics success. Of course 60,000 season tickets matter, equally the players transfer strategy. Why is it so difficult to understand that not every window pans out. Probably because you want to shout at someone doesn’t matter if there is another side to the story. Keep it up, you’re doing a grand job for those who want to see us fail.
Heading into the window it is mind boggling to think that this board would sanction money for WN to spend despite him being entirely unsuited and unqualified to be a Celtic manager however had deep concerns about doing the same for a trophy laden experienced manager……….

100%. His lack of awareness/arrogance, call it what you want , is hurting us and he’s doing nothing about it.
Expect more of the same on Saturday and every game until he is removed (probably in March when we are too far behind in the league to win it).

Absolutely agree with that statement.
Lady in the fruit shop (a Celtic supporter herself) asks me if I were at the game. Last night, asks I? “Last night was rubbish”, says she. Couldn’t argue. I would say, Abysmal.
We are only a handful of games away from a potential points deficit which will be irrecoverable . Are the fans the only ones sensing the seriousness of the situation? To hear his post match comments ,laid back Nancy doesn’t seem to . As for Desmond and the board’s inaction and silence , they don’t seem to either .

As totes hacked off as I am with the way things have gone lately (since Wilf) and prior to that when BR cooled on us for whatever reason, I just can’t believe that research would not have been done on several managerial options before whittling it down to a shortlist and interviewing, say, the three most promising candidates.
For as flawed as our suits have been and as potent as our potentate assumers himself to be, I can’t consider they’d deliberately do their ‘investment’ down; and all of what’s happening now is diminishing our brand image and the perceived value of the club (unless it’s some weird kinda strategy to market us to a buyer who sees what looks to be a hull-torpedo’ed ship ?)
Anyhoo, after shortlisting poss bosses – and depending on their circumstances – there would surely have been a further researched and thorough process ahead of saying “Yep clearly, Wilf’s our ghuy.” ?
I don’t want to scream at scapegoats; I just want those with the power, to fix this fuggup quick and properly.
Maybe they did do the research and are assured it’ll work out just peachy ?
But it’s incredibly fekkin horrible how it’s panning out so pitifully, atm.
I seen aspects in our play in a number of games that gave me hope.
Last nights game was the worse I have seen Celtic play for quite some times.
Is the manager to blame, or the board for sitting in the soft seats smirking down on the supporters.
I think it’s a bit of both and the manager will be the scapegoat.

100% right. I said after the win v Livvy that I was more worried by that than the Hearts game. When winning we look v lucky, when losing it could easily be a hammering.
The players are completely lost in this ‘system’, which is basically primary school possession football – making sure everyone gets to touch the ball – with no defence.
Despite how poor the team playing out of Ibrox are, they are better disciplined and their manager will have noted how vulnerable we are in defence.
So too will the manager of Auchinleck……..
Are Nicholson and Nancy still in place?

It isnt difficult. Most folk are not complaining about 1 single transfer window. Most folk are complaining about repeated mistakes over many years with an ambition that doesnt match the fans. and pls dont go on about what about rangers blah blah. Is that difficult to understand.
