Always thot give the manager a chance…now do i want him to continue to be in charge and spend money?…not so sure now.
Board look like they’ve really fekd up wi the cheap option now. There is nothing here to indicate good football could be on its way. Team looked like a 1st division team during the first half….

Didn’t have high expectations tonight but that first half performance was fucking garbage. Wilfried well on his way to 5 defeats in 7. If he makes it 6 in 8 by the end of the huns game we’ll likely be in 3rd place. What scandalous garbage we have in the Boardroom. Get them all in the sea. All Celtic fans against the Board.
PS well done Motherwell for thoroughly outclassing Europe’s best run club in the first half.
While Nancy has to take full responsibility for the players picked and the set up, he certainly doesn’t take any responsibility for most of the team being unable to pass to a teammate or win a tackle.

Not entirely his fault , too many of our players don’t have the ability and character required of a Celtic player and that’s down to recruitment . Nancy needs to own what’s happening on the pitchin the second half though as there are no board members in that dressing room .

Nygren seems to be playing an inside right kinda position. He’s been our best midfield player last couple games and he’s now being asked to hang out up front with Maeda?
I’d get Ralston and Bernardo off for Donovan and Engels. Get Nygren back into midfield with Maeda up front on his own. Calmac needs to step up – he doesn’t even look interested.

Players dont seem to know how to play Nancy’s formation / tactics. Hatate and Bernardo being caught in no msns land or losing the ball high in attacking positions. Maeda, Yang and Nygren are static or spectators.
Dare I say it but we need Kenny or Shin up front. The link up play brings the midfield and wingers into play.

Agree with all the posters saying that this is the worst performance since Mowbray. It looks more like a game from last mid season but with the teams having swapped shirts!
One of the following needs to happen, and very soon:
1. The board tell Nancy to ditch his ridiculous defensive system. You can’t win games by playing with one defender in the middle and two in the opposition half.
2. The board needs to sack Nancy and appoint a manager who knows how to set up a team to play to their strengths and who knows at least something about Scottish football.
3. The players need to ignore Nancy and adopt the same game plan, formation and tactics that won them the league on 13 of the last 14 years.
