“Mr Flanagan” has his court name reprised

I read Newco’s statement last night with a meme, “She’s turned the SFA Review Panel against me” buzzing around my head.  Jon Flanagan was offered a retrospective two match ban for elbowing Scott Brown in the face.  The panel reviewed video involving Jozo Simunovic and Jermaine Defoe and found there to be no case to answer.

The resulting Newco statement referred to Flanagan as “Mr Flanagan”, his court name (yes, he has form), as the club promised to “vigorously defend” their client, sorry, player.

All of this is calculated to inhibit the SFA Review Panel from curtailing future transgressions by Newco players.  The club have a dreadful disciplinary record this season, and instead of reflective consideration, they clearly have no intentions of curtailing physical assaults on opponents and would prefer to attack those who hold them to account.

All a bit sinister, but when you have nothing but bluster and indignation in your trophy cabinet, it is better to have a jaked up loon leading the charge.

    Yes you are correct it always seems we scrabble around at the end of each season with no apparent plan.

     

    The madhouse which is the EPL doesn’t help our situation either a string of top European managers will go to any tin pot club there long before considering Celtic, sad but true.

    Not sure I agree. Accommodations will be made to appease them….if they dont like a referee, he doesnt ref any more of their games. simple. so, they will band togetherand find a solution that keeps the zombie hordes happy …

     

     

    If anyone should be complaininig, it is Celtic … what is it now 5 reds that were issued retrospectively? Those players should have been off against Celtic… but, I dont think Celtic have said a peep about that.

     

     

    Nothing will happen to Sevco as long as DD and PL are in place.

    Thank you so much for that. Our animals are absolutely fine. Still got them all. Trying to get the pet ram, Yoda, clipped earlier this year. It’s fln roasting. Gonnie start running the livestock down, because we’re getting too old for this amazing life. And it is, an amazing life. I love Celtic..

    Thomson, came from a role at Newcastle youths, and was the one recommending Fraser Foster

     

    Parker was scouting for Aston Villa, and had identified Hooper and Ledley

     

    We have commented on VVD and the IT Guy

     

    Once past this, I can only think of big Vic and Ki ( who was signed as opposed to James MCCarthy) as having any major success through Mr Parks time ???

    injuries, BR, cheating, infinite penalties, a punch described as a shove, shi* away form, BR, RC being amazing

    Have seen a lot of talk about a total rebuild being needed. We do not need a massive rebuild. We need a massive clear out and as luck would Have it many none contributing players are out of contract this summer and more will follow next summer too.

     

     

    We need a first pick rightback, centreback and targetman as a must. Cover for leftback is needed if gutman or church are not ready to offer back up and players 20 games a season.

     

     

    If We sell/ release comperr and henry We will need another younger centreback.

     

     

    I would be comfortable with one or two of our more talked about players moving on to raise the money needed to sort the key areas/ gaps.

     

     

    Have seeing people talking down celtics spend because net spend on transfers as low to zero. big net spend means losses and poor return on transfers.

     

     

    The biggest issue is who takes over in the summer.

    It would be very problematic for our Treble aspirations if Scott Brown had a broken bone in his big toe ,and Edouard had a broken metatarsal.

     

     

    If that were to be the case .

     

    Could either player play in the SCF after receiving an injection ?

     

     

    Would Broony be happy to take the injection and would French Eddy decline?
