Lots of details became available yesterday but if you can drag yourself away from the most gratuitous, concentrate on the dates.
12 December 2012.
One week before the IPO. Material information disclosed to the nomad?
21 June 2012.
Four weeks after Mr Whyte was banned from participating in Scottish football, enabling Newco to exist.
11 months before one of Mr Whyte’s collaborators is proposed as a director of Newco.
What the spivs have done to that club, assisted by the most stupid people to own keyboards and journos on-the-make, is breath-taking. How did the idiots manage to take over? There is a lesson for humanity here.
On a related subject:
“Craig Whyte’s involvement would be hidden from the SFA and SPL”.
Mr Ogilvie, you’re going to need a bigger shredder.
You and your organisation are being openly mocked. What was patently obvious to anyone remotely interested in following events to their logical conclusion a year ago is now evident to all.
I have no interest in you resigning now. All the damage which could have been done to our game due to a lack of penetrative oversight, which is your job, has been done. Your persistence is merely confirmation that the levels of corporate governance at the SFA remain unchanged.
Fans from SPL and SFL clubs found rock among the sand to build foundations on last year. There remains a love of our game, and our clubs, among the detritus, but we have unquestionably been failed by the custodians of our game at Hampden Park, who I am convinced, will again bury their heads in the sand.
There is no going back, no quick fix, no one can put this right. Nothing will ever be the same again. Accept this and move on.

I agree re both of thems.
Dundee have been in the right place at the right time, though they may well lose out this time.
Any suggestions for a good pub to watch the Champions League Final in Glasgow Saturday week. Most of the “usual suspects” have live music after 8:30 Hail Hail Hebcelt
seem to remember Ogilvie was with hearts at the time? but it was a while back & details are very vague, I was working in Edinburgh at the time & didn’t realise significance,
Weefra
Sure your not away out to buy a bigger shed given all the business you were
conducting last night.
Personally surprised MSM never ran a story “CQN fans miss dead team so much they all want Weefra’s BLUE eggs”
No doubt SSB will use as evidence tonight.
Crushed nuts – Throwing money at mediocre players isn’t the answer, but this is the inherent behavioural pattern of a typical EPL club when presented with additional funds. You can’t improve the quality of players by paying them more, you can only increase the number of mediocre players with potential in your squad.
Celtic’s current strategy of finding good young talent before the EPL clubs are alerted, getting 2-3 years and then selling on for a profit is a sound one in this market, however our ability to rebuff offers from EPL will certainly diminish. If a scenario similar to that of Hooper to Norwich last Jan happens in two years time, I doubt it would have the same outcome.

The difference this time, is the hartz are a stick on for liquidation.
Their big brothers had the whole country fighting their corner.
