Lots of details became available yesterday but if you can drag yourself away from the most gratuitous, concentrate on the dates.
12 December 2012.
One week before the IPO. Material information disclosed to the nomad?
21 June 2012.
Four weeks after Mr Whyte was banned from participating in Scottish football, enabling Newco to exist.
11 months before one of Mr Whyte’s collaborators is proposed as a director of Newco.
What the spivs have done to that club, assisted by the most stupid people to own keyboards and journos on-the-make, is breath-taking. How did the idiots manage to take over? There is a lesson for humanity here.
On a related subject:
“Craig Whyte’s involvement would be hidden from the SFA and SPL”.
Mr Ogilvie, you’re going to need a bigger shredder.
You and your organisation are being openly mocked. What was patently obvious to anyone remotely interested in following events to their logical conclusion a year ago is now evident to all.
I have no interest in you resigning now. All the damage which could have been done to our game due to a lack of penetrative oversight, which is your job, has been done. Your persistence is merely confirmation that the levels of corporate governance at the SFA remain unchanged.
Fans from SPL and SFL clubs found rock among the sand to build foundations on last year. There remains a love of our game, and our clubs, among the detritus, but we have unquestionably been failed by the custodians of our game at Hampden Park, who I am convinced, will again bury their heads in the sand.
There is no going back, no quick fix, no one can put this right. Nothing will ever be the same again. Accept this and move on.

ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON ……DISGUSTING….!!

Unfortunately this will all be seen as yet more of the “we are the victims” scenario. This has been spun since admin. Paul Murray did it again on Shortbread a couple of weeks ago and completely took in Speirs and the rest (apart from Cosgrove).
They will pin it all on Green and say he was the bad guy who told them fibs. Therefore this new-new “Rangers” without Green is all above board and can keep on playing.
TET,
like 67heaven keeps reminding us, cowardice, say nothing and no one can blame you, good enough for us but no the press, the press make money from their silence, supporters are robbed, but we’re only plebs we can protect ourselves.

Our Club would not lower themselves to THAT level…..this is not a debate…. This is criminality and corruption of the lowest level……leave them all in the ‘basket’ of immoral collusion, to rot together…… Our integrity supercedes their stench….

Imagine you had the task of bringing Third Rangers into the world.
You’d need to identify and convince investors, find a stadium, build a team, get a licence, approach the previous clubs’ fans and try to get them to follow a different team for the third season running, starting from the bottom, or wherever Clydebank play. Huns and humility do not mix.
That is a much tougher gig than Craig Whyte or Charles Green had.

15:44 on 16 May, 2013tinytim15:38 on 16 May, 2013Paul67Celtic’s silence is wonderful, and the correct strategy……….never disturb the enemy when they are destroying themselves………any comment from Celtic would be media mana…..
I think Celtic have to play it this way, make no mistake, we make comment and it’s fireworks, in more ways than one. Let them implode, although, I do feel we will at some point, show our hand…

I agree with you except that I think it is more likely to be ‘disorganised’ crime rather than the ‘organised’ version……………but crime nonetheless.
@OHenleyAlex: @celticfc manager Neil Lennon is the Scottish Football Writers’ Association Manager Of The Year.

The Celtic family has never embraced cowardice….we are masters of resistance……let them rot intheir filthy mess…..keep clear of the quicksand….and ‘enjoy’ their self-inflicted second demise……
GlassTwoThirds…,
thats neither here nor there, my point is this should be a criminal investigation by the serious crime squad, this is organised crime, the money being swindled is, well, howmuch did murray spend, banks involved, are the britsh government afraid of the uda

Ill take your bet.
It’s staggering how football’s “greatest ever administrator” could ever let this happen. Staggering I tell you.
Scottish football will not move forward until Ogilvie is booted out on his erchie and the SFA utterly torn asunder.
67heaven,
yer right the Celtic family have not, but the Celtic board positively wallow in it, absolute shitebags to a man, every single one of them rely on their position to keep them out of harms way, Yet set thugs and pigs on the support, cowards to a man

Our local councillors have a sin to answer for allowing them to start from a chapel never mind allowing them to walk our streets.

Ah, now understand your position in respect of our Board….hopefully, the GB and our Board can ‘come together’…….. Seems to have calmed down…….let me tell you, the GB have no bigger supporter than myself…….however, you cannot knock the Board generally, just because they have found it difficult to ‘navigate’ the most ill-conceived law ever imposed on any section of any society……….our Board have guided us through this recession, and have been exemplary custodians of our wonderful Club…..and I am eternally grateful to them for that……..now, can I go for my swim…LOL
once this is all over and theres a new, hopefully honest entity in place with new and crystal clear rules-they could sell princess gardens and with the proceeds build a new one made entirely of glass

and dont kid yourself the board dont want to come together, they are simply waiting on the next opportunity (crowds are healthy) to remove them, getting rid of the GB is party of the sanitisation process
I thought if you were “offered” a 2 game ban, contested it and lost, then it would be increased? Or will that only happen when we contest a ban?
naw, if you want to blindly defend oppression you need to make sacrafices :oD)))
Beckham retires.
I seen him after training at the Cliff after his first goal for Utd. Very shy lad. He had to be encouraged by Steve Bruce to come over to the fans and pose for pics and sign autographs. Sure my son has the autograph some where.
How times change.
Very good player perhaps not as great as his hype. Genuine enough lad.
