Back in August 2005 we didn’t know what we were getting with Naka, and I’m not going to burden Wakaso with a comparison to a player who turned out to be a transformational legend, but we need players with big personalities who can walk into the dressing room with the determination to be there, just as Naka did.

So…as our two biggest rivals went bust and we are bridging the gap in funding due presumably to the £100 discount on season tickets and the decline in over season ticket numbers, we are making that up by selling players. It is fair to say that the shortfall for the decline in revenue is around £10m?
Last year this was therefore covered by the Wanyama sale and this year by selling Fraser Forster.
Rangers (sic) don’t look likely to make it back (sic) – or you wouldn’t think so if you are an accountant looking at the news this morning. So where does next year’s ten million come from and if there is a further decline in revenue – maybe as a result of no Champions League – will we have to farm £15m or £20m in players to STAND STILL?
Eventually you are left with a bunch of players worth hee haw. Then what?
The Greenman. Surely with the players we have we should be beating teams like Maribor the fact that we didnt is down to the management team and the players.Even under Lennie we had our horror games Ross County & Morton spring to mind.I think even had we played big Peter the result would have been the same.We need to give the new management team time.I know its frustrating but most change is.
