MUSA MOHAMMED LINK

CELTIC have been linked with Nigerian defender Musa Mohammed.
The 19-year-old right-back, an international team-mate of Efe Ambrose, is poised to quit Turkish outfit Istanbul Basaksehir.
A Nigerian report insisted: “Those who moved Ambrose to Celtic from Israel now wish to take Musa to the same club.
“It will be a very good move for a very promising player like Musa.”
Ambrose, who has emerged as a £1.5million target for Bayer Leverkusen, joined the Hoops from FC Ashdod in an £800,000 deal in 2012.
Brendan Rodgers is looking for cover in the No.2 spot with Mikael Lustig virtually unchallenged in the position.
The Swedish star made 43 appearances in the full-back spot last season with only Ambrose and Saidy Janko, bought for £1million from Manchester United a year ago, stepping in for rare outings.
Darnell Fisher, who spent last term on loan at St Johnstone, has been recalled and started at right-back in the 2-2 draw with NK Celje on Thursday night. Janko took over for the opening 45 minutes of last night’s 1-0 victory over Sturm Graz before being replaced by Anthony Ralston.

However, one snag in a move from the champions would be Mohammed’s involvement with his country’s team in the Rio Olympics.
French team Lorient are also looking at versatile teenager Mohammed, who still has two years of his current contract to run. Before heading to Turkey the youngster was linked with Manchester United and Chelsea.
