LUIS PALMA has revealed it was his decision to leave Celtic and join Lech Poznan.
The Honduran winger, who cost £3.5million when he joined from Greek side Aris Thessaloniki in the summer of 2023, has arrived in Poland and is poised to agree a season-long loan switch, as CQN reported last week.
The terms of the deal will include a purchase option for the 25-year-old wide Bhoy who spent the second half of last term at Olympiakos on a temporary transfer.
He was returned to the champions at the end of the campaign and Brendan Rodgers made it clear he had no future at Parkhead, despite having three years still to run on his contract.

PALMA IN POLAND…the Celtic winger arrives to seal loan switch to Lech Poznan.
Palma, though, has insisted he is looking forward to his latest adventure and said: “I am very happy with the move.
“I am delighted to be joining my new club and it was all done very quickly.
“I spoke with Celtic and it was my decision to look elsewhere.”
Palma, as reported in the Glasgow Times, added: “I don’t know too much about the Polish League, except that it’s a good league, with big stadiums and big clubs.
“I am going to learn a lot about football there.”
The flanker played only eight league games for the Hoops last season, with his last appearance coming against Dundee in the 3-3 draw at Dens Park on January 14 just before his short-term move to Olympiakos.
