WILFRIED NANCY headed for the sanctuary of the dressing room only moments after the final whistle at Parkhead yesterday.
There was a consolation hug from opposite number Danny Rohl as the Frenchman beat a hasty retreat in the immediate aftermath of his SIXTH defeat in only eight games as Celtic manager.
The angry crescendo from the fans who remained to the bitter end told its own story following a remarkable comeback from Rangers to win 3-1 after the champions had led at the interval through a superb solo run and strike from Yang Hyun-jun.

ENDGAME…Danny Rohl offers a consolation hug to the disconsolate Wilfried Nancy.
The hosts dominated the opening 45 minutes and it looked as though under-pressure Nancy was about to turn a massive corner. And then the roof fell in.
By the 71st minute, Celtic were 3-1 down after a howler from Kasper Schmeichel allowed a low drive from Mickey Moore to elude him at his right hand side.
That was the signal for many home supporters to head for the exit in the obvious belief this current Hoops side could not claw back two goals in 19 minutes plus stoppage time. That in itself is a damning condemnation of the manager and the players.
Nancy has now seen his team carelessly throw away TWELVE points from a possible 18 in his six Premiership games in charge.
The former Columbus Crew head coach has seen the title holders lose to Heats (1-2), Dundee United (1-2), Motherwell (0-2) and Rangers (1-3).
The only successes have come against a 10-man Aberdeen (3-1) and rock-bottom Livingston (4-2).
There have also been reverses in the Premier Sports League Cup Final to St Mirren (1-3) and in the Europa League to AS Roma (0-3).
The faltering champions have now conceded EIGHTEEN goals in eight games under the guidance of Nancy.

HEADING FOR THE EXIT…Wilfried Nancy moments after the final whistle following 3-1 derby defeat.
It’s a dossier of disaster for the new team chief who is on course to go into the history books as the club’s shortest-ever managerial stay.
It’s interesting to see how many games it took for other Hoops gaffers to suffer four league defeats.
