Issue 11 of CQN Magazine is our biggest and best yet; 100 pages of smooth as silk, green as grass, content for the Celtic community.  This month we mark the club’s 125th anniversary with a look back at one of our founding fathers.  We have a look at ex-Celts playing in North America, with some spectacular photos, and we have one article from a former club insider on how the media exploited his casual comment.

There’s also a look ahead at our Champions League chances………

It’s here, it’s FREE to read online, it’s stuffed full of what your community have to say.  Get it while it’s hot!

As well as reading for FREE here (don’t try to read through the graphic below), you can subscribe for £10 or £20, and our sponsor, Executive Shaving, who offer an enormous range of grooming products, are offering readers a £20 voucher for all £30 CQN Magazine subscribers

:) Agree, but have a bit of understanding – imagine you were witnessing all that chaos and devastation – wouldn’t you be just dying to get it on Facebook or twitter???

Someone previously mentioned the media emphasis on material damage rather than loss of life. The day Sandy arrived in th US I read somewhere that it had killed 16 people. Odd that, since it had already killed 50 or more as it tore through the Caribbean.

  3. Barca playing a team in green n white with a name awfy like celtic

Good of la liga to arrange that eh ;)

  5. bsr – I’ve lived for a couple of months without the constant apparition of joanie to tosture. Somehow I forgot her but now ….. the dark lustful days of winter lie ahead

  6. Interesting post-match comments from Kenny Shiels about reporting the referee to the compliance officer about the way he was spoken to.

  7. Dharma….Etc…

There should be nothing off topic on here when it considers human hope and aspiration. We are a family, a community bound by a love of Celtic and all it stands for. Think again mate.

An rerr night, but I only had a Man U fan to wind up in the pub-though I thought I did so rather well.

Plus of course the sevconian who demanded to smoke anywhere due to booking a room, that was funny.

Two bouncers who were as much use as a chocolate fireguard joost didnae help, mind.

It must be simply smashing to jump on a plane, wander into a pub,and realise that you might as well never have been away, they never change, etc.

I did NOT ONCE get an opportunity to mention the former huns in a whole fortnight in Kilwinning.

It was like a masonic convention,no-one speaking.

Very strange, but I think they might know something……

  9. Bloke nick on clyde wanting to no were the money from rangers fighting fund went as he donated 50 quid?

Thinking he just lobbed a grenade in there.

  10. Jimthetim53,

I don’t think there’s anything for me to think again about.

maybe our posts crossed in the ether. I agree that very little shouldbn’t be discussed on here. However, I don’t believe anyone should be castigated for posting about their mobile phone by reminders about Hurricane Sandy.

And what is the most common complaint out there……………………..

I CAN’T CHARGE MY CELL PHONE OR I-PAD…………………HUNBLVBL…………..”

If those are people’s primary method of communicating with the rest of the world, remembering they won’t have TV or radio if they have no electricity, then their reaction is perfectly understandable and reasonable.

  12. Don’t like not being top of the league although might just keep the Bhoys on their toes tomorrow.

Bad result tomorrow and cracked crests in the DR.

I’m all for competition when we are 40 pts clear!

  13. Listening to Shortbread and do they actually have a policy?

Are you over 78 years old?

Do you live in Aberdeen or at the very least north of Aberdeen?

As I type the next guy is from Stornoway, I rest my case.

  14. 67Heaven ... I am Neil Lennon..!!.. Ibrox belongs to the creditors on

I see there was a shock result in the Scottish Cup today ……….new club, just into the SFL3, beat SFL2 club, Alloa …….. The ‘shock’ aspect is based on the fact that this new club have been pure shoite since the beginning of the season, and they are drifting towards administration ……need to do better, Alloa ….!!!

  15. Oh oh oh to be oh to be a Rebel ! How oft in my thoughts does my fancy take flight ……… Oh The Banks of my own lovely Lee !!! Corcaigh Abu !!!

  16. Guiliano is a disappointment……………

    “Old Chinese fable.

Man standing outside his house, watching as a neighbour passes by, carrying a large basket on his back.

“What’s in the basket”, asks the man.

“It’s just my old grandfather”, is the reply.

“He is old and useless, so I am taking him to the river to drown him”.

“Don’t forget to bring the basket back then,as it will be needed again”, said the man.”

Trying to work out the message here??

Is it that, now we have drowned Rangers, we have to bring one of their baskets back?

Which of their baskets do you fancy?

  18. jimthetim53

I think I should be the one apologising.

I have assumed that weeman67 at 17.32 was reacting to time for change’s post of 17.27 when I don’t think he was.

I think I have picked up the situation incorrectly and so I’m sorry for stirring the pot.

Credit where its due lads, so its hats off to the tribute act they call “The Rangers” for playing above themselves in beating a third division team.

  21. Just watching the Barça game : amazing statistic – 5 of this FCB team are in the running for The Ballon D’Or.

And we get to play them at Celtic Park. Yes, that’s glamorous….but there’s nothing wrong with that, either.

And I, who rarely get to Parkhead, am very much looking forward to being there.
